I had G1 Trailbreaker as a kid but it must have been second hand because it was missing a lot of pieces. But my friend just bought me a used G1 complete Trailbreaker for my birthday and it’s so satisfying to have again.
I came searching for this review to learn how to transform my newly acquired G1 Trailbreaker. And just so you know, you're one hell of a reviewer man!!!
Love your videos! Keep making them. You're helping me relive my childhood. I'm showing my kids how Kool my childhood was, and they love it. I really wish you would do some of the season 3 bots!
This guy is the most forgotten season one autobot that was in the show. Or at least to me. You might say Gears or maybe Bluestreak but nope I say trailbreaker
Awesome! I still have my original Trailbreaker. And yes, his tires are still good and roll great nearly 30 years later. His alt mode is one of the best, although I agree about his robot mode -- it's a tad awkward and top-heavy. Regardless, he's overall a very nice TF figure. Thanks for posting.
I had Trailbreaker. Got him for Christmas and it was awesome! He met his demise when my younger brother left Trailbreaker where my youngest brother could get it. Well, my youngest baby brother put Trailbreaker in the clothes dryer. He went in as one and came out as many.
My Trailbreaker has a red Visor I know mine has chrome wear too. I did hear the reissue had a blue Visor. I bought mine for a couple bucks complete at a flea market back in the 90's.
Chevrolet makes a vehicle called the Trailblazer, that ironically enough in the 80s would have looked a lot like Trailbreaker, they were basically a pickup with a shell.

Laura Kolanowski how can you tell? I don’t think it’s G1 original because it I just looks way too and mint to be an original ‘84 one . Still looks exactly the same and a good reference video. I like all his reviews. They all look like the encore ones though.

I like his vehicle mode. It reminds me of my uncle's old Ford Bronco.
His alt mode is a mid 80's Toyota Hilux 4x4 package. But it does slightly look like a Bronco.

Blue eyes means it’s a the Takara encore version not the original ‘84 one.

now, there are ones that have "qualified grade",e.g afa 80Q, which means they have been previously taken out of the box. do you trust those?
