Love this video, very insightful - big thanks. I've got a related question: been riding a Capita Ultrafear (2023 155W). In addition to my Deep Thinker 2022 (for off piste/powder) I experience the Ultra as a good all mountain (both versatile for tricks and stable on groomers). I also ride a Disaster for easy flat ground tricks but still wondering whether I should get a NS Proto Slinger (in sale) and maybe sell the Utrafear and/or Disaster. Any (much appreciated) insights/advice on this?

Is this board good for learning butters? Currently looking at this and the bataleon disaster +. Leaning towards the proto as it seems like a better all around freestyle board

Hey teardrop! I would agree this board (the NS Proto Slinger) would be more versatile and especially better for butters! Hit me up on my profile to chat more if you need to find a good deck! 🤙 www.curated.com/experts/alex.weber - Alex

Yo how would you compare this board to the DOA 2023? I got one starting this season as my daily driver.

The Protoslinger is more of a park board. It's softer and more playful than the DOA. It has rocker in the middle of the board. Camber between your feet. The DOA is more of an all-mountain board. Mid flex full-cambered snowboard. Two completely boards
