This game will give me a big recommendation to my buddies or friends who are casual in gaming. And play the simple way of playing pokemon tcg if they are not on the collecting/competitive side
There's really nothing to do in the game tbh. It severely needs content. Surely the company cant be happy for people to be on their application for 3 minutes a day pulling a pack and just logging off.
The game literally came out a few days ago, and its a soft launch exclusive to ONE country. We just need to give them time and I'm sure they'll expand on the features in the game when it releases worldwide.
Id like to see you build a Greninja deck, i use one that has frosmoth ( for sleep), tentacruel (for poison), pidgeot to force opponents mons out w Gren (Effect lets you hit an opponents mon for 20 every turn), red card to disrupt opponents hand. Its super fun! Out of about 30 matches ive only lost once with it.
They should transfer the point system to the main tcg. It would improve the game so much. Having a random 10% of your deck not avaible every match brings a huge RNG factor in the game and you are forced to play extra copies of certain cards in your deck, just in case they are prized. Plus, there are not many effects in the game that really interact with the prize cards anyway. Cards like Iono that only count the number of points left, would still function exactly the same. If you want to keep the reward for taking a point, just let the player decide if he wants to draw a card or not.

Considering they have access to Pokémon sounds, not to mention Trainer voicelines and music from Pokémon Masters, the card arena is terribly bland. Definitely buy physical cards instead

@Rain1 it's not that simple bro and you know it ptcg live is also a pain in the ass to work with I just want something easy and simple to use pocket gives me that and there's alot of ppl who agrees with me. Just stick to live if pocket isn't for you just be glad us casuals has something to play on

The art direction in TCG Pocket is absolutely beautiful. Now I’m contemplating if I should migrate over from Live once it’s released 😅

To be honest there are people keep saying the Live version is better. But as casual player who want quick play, this game is more fun.

Picking the pack during the carousel does not matter. You can fast-forward through the animation using the bottom right button
