  • In this video, I’m challenging myself to limit screen time by exploring new and mindful hobbies! 📚🎲 From reading and doing bookish things, to playing The Sims 4, baking, crocheting and even getting creative with Lego - I tried it all to see how these activities could help me stay off my phone and practice mindfulness. I felt like I got to connect with my inner child.

    Low-Calorie Protein Brownies Recipe:
    Ingredients:
    2 scoops chocolate protein powder (whey, casein, or plant-based): ~240 calories
    1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder: ~50 calories
    1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce: ~25 calories
    2 large egg whites: ~34 calories
    1/4 cup almond milk (unsweetened): ~10 calories
    1/4 cup sugar substitute (Stevia, Erythritol, or similar): ~0 calories
    1 tsp vanilla extract: ~12 calories
    1/2 tsp baking powder: ~1 calorie
    Pinch of salt (optional)
    Add extra milk at the end of mixing (as needed)
    Instructions:
    Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and lightly grease or line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
    In a bowl, mix the protein powder, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
    In another bowl, whisk the egg whites, applesauce, almond milk, vanilla extract, and sweetener.
    Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until combined. Add more almond milk if needed.
    Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 18-20 minutes (30 minutes for runny batter).
    Let the brownies cool completely before slicing.
    Calories:
    Total calories for the entire batch: ~372 calories (without optional toppings)
    Per slice (if cut into 8 slices): ~47 calories per slice (without toppings).
    Optional toppings: ~8-10 extra calories per slice with dark chocolate chips or cacao nibs.

    Hi! New crocheter here! I only recently got the hang of things, but that was after months of trying. Once you learn the basics it becomes a lot easier, so good luck! Also, I'm seeing that we happen to be very similar lol (sims, reading crochet, etc.)
