This made me realize since I’ve been knitting and crocheting, I hardly scroll anymore. On RUclips (I spend a lot of time on RUclips) or my crochet/knit instagram but barely anywhere else.
You inspired me to continue my blanket. I was so bored crocheting my blanket, that I just did some animals. But they take so long that i often give up and continue a long time later. I dont know why. But i really have to continue my blanket :)
I absolutely love crocheting! I self taught myself last year, it’s so easy and fun to do! I love making things for myself and gifting my work to friends and family! The feeling of finishing a big project >>> I also adore Sonny angels!! I only have two so far because they can be a bit pricey for their size and due to shipping, but it’s one of my fav things ever to do! Ngl I’m so hanna coded 😔🎀
I love Emily Henry books! My all time favorite definitely is "Happy Place"! Perfect second chance romance, feels a lot deeper and almost a literary fiction 💗
im into art so the hobbies i do are usually, crocheting, scrapbooking, colouring, drawing, doodling, sketching, painting, blind bags and paper squishes. if youre into like literacy, reading, writing stories and journalling are a good way as well. if youre into maths, challenge yourself on maths and etc. things like colouring and writing stories can keep you motivated. don't go too hard on yourself, limit how long you want to scroll, once that time is up control yourself not to anymore.
I have 2 daughters ages 6 and 8. These are all great suggestions. Us moms are constantly buzzing around we often forget to take time for ourselves ✌️❤️☀️
I literally JUST got into knitting after considering it for a while (literally only 3 days haha) but I'm already enjoying it so much, definitely been scrolling less since I started, and I'm only 3 days in. Hobbies are so important, and for such a long time I didn't have any. Great video!
Fantasy that’s not too intense and SO SO GOOD - Divine Rivals ♥️🤝🏻 put me in a massive reading slump afterwards because I couldn’t stop thinking about it!
I have been doing this too! My reading journey tends to fluctuate like one year I’ll read several books and the next I won’t read any so this next year I’m trying to get back into the habit of reading. I also started daily journaling which is super therapeutic :)
A book series I’d recommend (definitely good if your into Disney) Is twisted tales or villian tales. Twisted tales: tells you the story of Aladdin, sleeping beauty etc but if something different happened e.g if Aladdin didn’t find the lamp and why would have happened. Villian tales: is like the malificent film and tells you the backstory of the villains and why they became like that it’s very interesting and have a lot of shocking moment you wouldn’t expect.
Yes yes yes art projects for your house sence in one day you can’t make a perfect house or your dream home so spread it out, also going to parties with your best friends maybe, or spending time with loved ones just playing games at there house.
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. schwab is such a good fantasy/romance book. It’s one of my favourites and not too intense as a fantasy ish book
If you like romance and are looking to branch into fantasy but not an overwhelming amount, I'd suggest both The Night Circus and Caraval!! Both really good romances with not too much action. Divine Rivals and Once Upon a Broken Heart are also really really good.
I’m still in the book portion of the video, but i wanted to give some book recommendations! •The folk of the air series (definitely on the more intense side, but i can’t handle much scary-ness and i read these like three years ago) • once upon a broken heart (feels like a fairytale. absolutely love it. def made me cry a little tho lol) • The wizards of once (it’s a kids book, no romance per se, but the writing is AMAZING a little silly at times but so good. my whole family is obsessed) • all of Rick Riordan’s books!! •Self made boys (super beautiful queer historical fantasy) •the Howls Moving Castle series ( howls moving castle, castle in the air, the house of many ways. def a bit weird but stick with it!!) • Gwen and Art are not in love (so sweet, ripped my heart out towards the end, but it has a happy ending!) •impractical magic for cynical witches (just finished this one, so good!) •Legends and Lattes (and the prequel, so wholesome! fantasy, romance, food. all good things ) hope you like any of these that you might read!!
2:32 for a good fantasy book I’d recommend ‘Circe’ she’s a character in the Iliad and it follows her side of the story, there’s not very much action (there’s not really any at all) and it’s not suspenseful but such an beautiful book with really good writing!
The fact that she said to get you off your phone and we’re watching this on her phone. I love you, Hanna you’re the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen.❤❤❤❤
I do so many crafts it is incredible, I crochet, knit, tat, paint, make cards, journals, wood working, scrapbooking, reading, quilting, and yes work full time and on top of that have a major brain and nerve pain issue and live in pain everyday, but crafts helps you to try not to think about it. A phone to me is something I only need to answer if it rings. No matter where I go say the Dr. office all I see is people scrolling on their phones. Dates they are out for dinner and both on their phones! The world has gotten too much with phones. There are so many great crafts to do and I love giving everything away as gifts, or donations. At least I feel I am doing something for me and others. Great idea to try to get people to put down the phone. I am on my tablet now and all I will spend on it in a day is no more than 1 hour and that is plenty if I am going to do all my crafts. Everyone try all kind of crafts it is great and it takes your stress level down. Have fun!
Omggg first time watching your vids and your black lab is so cute!!! I had a black lab who lived to 14 and she was the coolest dog i miss her everyday!
Emily henry is one of my fav authors! I love Happy place by her, it is so so so good! I also really enjoy Taylor Jenkins Reed books (Daisy Jones in the Six and the 7 Husbands of Evelyn Hugo)!
I love watching your videos, you have so much warmth and it's so sweet. And you should paint the veggie one to be a pomegranate!! That would be adorable :)
I am watching this and crocheting at the same time lol, I love reading and I’ve had that love and other words book for like a year but I’ll read it tonight,
if you're looking for a cosy fantasy with not a lot of action, mostly cosy fairy vibes, I def recommend Emily Wilde's Encyclopaedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett 💛
On of the books that got me into fantasy was the A court of thorns and roses series you have to push through the first book but the second gets sooo good
Cruel prince is a very nice fantasy book :) was the first fantasy I’ve read and the politics and everything wasn’t too complicated. I loved the world so so much !! Felt so magical. It’s a trilogy and I recommend reading all three books, they aren’t thick at all and the last one was my fav !! Just don’t go into it expecting much romance (even tho people say its enemies to lovers), it’s more enemies than lovers really ahaha
5:28 I HIGHLY recommend reading The Inheritance Games series by Jennifer Lynn Barnes! there's a bit of romance, but it's mostly like mystery and puzzles :)
I think you might like The Ex Hex! It’s a cozy romance set in autumn, about a witch and her ex who came back into town. It’s not action packed and you don’t need to know a thing about fantasy to read it! (I realise we’re almost in december now hahahah but here’s the rec anyway?)
Boston Promises by Jillene Cook is incredible - I read it over the summer. It’s a memoir but I know the author and her husband…they’re a sweet Christian couple and the story she tells and the lessons she talks about are just so inspiring and it’s definitely a cozy read in my opinion!
If you like romance, fantasy, and the enemies to lovers trope I recommend/reading the cruel prince. I wish I could read it again for the first time! It’s was so investing for me I couldn’t put it down. 😊
Caraval and once upon a broken heart are really good! Both are by Stephanie garber, and both are fantasy, but don't have a bunch of fighting or action scenes
We have such a similar reading style! I adored better than the movies and really all of Lynn painter's books! I just read my first ever fantasy book and I 100% recommend it! It's called once upon a broken heart. It has its fantasy elements, but it also has a lot of romance! Hope that helps!
If you want YA fantasy with minimal physical romance, try Once Upon a Broken Heart. Loved the series, especially book 2, but it wasn’t smutty enough for me haha!
The goal of the Armed Forces is to maintain a force sufficient to deter, fight, and overcome various threats or conflicts in multiple regions at the same time. Emerging conflicts and global events, however, could lead to changes in the size of the military branches. Consequently, the nation is expected to maintain adequate personnel in the Reserve, Army National Guard, and Air National Guard.
You might enjoy The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern! I don’t read fantasy much but I did quite enjoy that one and actually want to re-read it at some point. It definitely feels like a cozy autumn book to me!
This made me realize since I’ve been knitting and crocheting, I hardly scroll anymore. On RUclips (I spend a lot of time on RUclips) or my crochet/knit instagram but barely anywhere else.
I love that so much!!
i used to scroll while crocheting ..
I vote that educational/skill building screen time doesn’t count!!
Same! I scroll occasionally, maybe 5 minutes at most but although I watch RUclips quite a bit, and I'm working on it, I never scroll for hours a day!
You are the actual definition of a cozy person
That means so much to me!! Thank you!!
Making sweaters for your jellycats is so cute 🥹
Thank you 🥹 I love doing it!!
You inspired me to continue my blanket. I was so bored crocheting my blanket, that I just did some animals. But they take so long that i often give up and continue a long time later. I dont know why. But i really have to continue my blanket :)
i'm so glad that you're continuing your blanket! I'm sure it'll turn out soooo cute!

Yes!! I read that and loved it too! I’m currently reading “a novel romance” and I’m actually so obsessed with it so far!!
@@hannanoelle I have to read it then!!!
You have to read Funny Story!
im into art so the hobbies i do are usually, crocheting, scrapbooking, colouring, drawing, doodling, sketching, painting, blind bags and paper squishes. if youre into like literacy, reading, writing stories and journalling are a good way as well. if youre into maths, challenge yourself on maths and etc. things like colouring and writing stories can keep you motivated. don't go too hard on yourself, limit how long you want to scroll, once that time is up control yourself not to anymore.

I have been doing this too! My reading journey tends to fluctuate like one year I’ll read several books and the next I won’t read any so this next year I’m trying to get back into the habit of reading. I also started daily journaling which is super therapeutic :)
