im glad it looks soft and luxurious, i feel like that was a key part of the reference drawing! a lot of prom dresses look inelegant to me because of how stiff and awkwardly structured they are, but this looks plush

I honestly LOVE the lace up back much more than a simple zipper! Obviously, zippers are great and faster than having to lace something up, but making the back lace up makes the dress seem so much more princess-like.
The girl who ordered this dress is very lucky to have found a designer who puts so much thought and effort into every last detail of the garment. If I’m being honest, it turned out even better than the inspiration picture she sent you.
You did such a wonderful job and I really applaud you for all the time and effort you put into making such a special gown for this girl. I’m sure that she felt so beautiful when she showed up to prom in the dress you made 💕
