I reacted to some of the album the same way the first time I heard it. I was like it’s good but it’s not the best. But then I listen to it again and again and now I’m addicted to the album. It’s way catchy and interesting!

Judging it from a hip hop/rap perspective, I can see how some of these may have fallen flat to you. That said, as someone that likes folk, indie, rock, pop, and hip hop, I think he's blending some amazing sounds. I was so sad that you pretty much skipped A Thousand Bad Times - I know it's poppy, but really listen to the instrumentation and progression. Lots of the songs have such a mystic quality in the background that I think adds a lot of depth. It depends on your expectations, though, and what other types of music you're really into and have truly listened to a lot of.
Btw, on Allergic, listen to those NOTES! Those minor sounds are very reminiscent of Relient K, which lives in an entirely different realm of music. I love the blend though.
