I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (November 1, All Saints' Day), this was our First Reading of the Day. And let us give thanks to those that have gone before us.
My Brother, in Jesus Christ, you are a gifted messenger of God and you bless many with in expounding God's Word of ultimate Truth. I have, as you spoke of being done a terrible wrong that my life has changed forever. Lies told about me, trying to deceive my mother and father in secret into believing things that were 100% fictious putting me in a bad light. My father was not deceived in these people deceitfulness, however the Lord took him home. My mother was intensively manipulated, brainwashed after my father's passing, while my mother was diagnosed with incurable cancer in her brain. She would follow my father to heaven just eight months after my father passed. My younger brother and his 2nd wife were constantly visiting my parents every summer in Florida. I will not go into detail, but I was in Europe for many years therefore my visits were not as often. Though while I was far away, even in Iraq I spoke with my parents. Point is that because of greed, by my brother and his wife deceived my mother into believing that I wasted money and gave money away to foreign women. Lies on top of lies led my mother to change her will after my father's passing. My brother got millions in cash, properties, stock shares and two houses one in Florida, one in Georgia. 2 new vehicles, 3 boats, travel trailer, etc. I received nothing. My mother never questioned me about any of the fabricated tales, my oldest son just happened to over hear my sister-in-law in conversation with my mother weaving a web of deceit a few months after my father passed away. At the time of my mother's passing I myself was stricken with illnesses and because of my chronic health issues I lost my job and had no health insurance to get proper treatment. My brother did loan me eight hundred dollars, which I havent been able to reimburse him, while I am now virtually homeless, ( live in a garage), jobless, no vehicle. My health, after five years is increasingly better and I hope to find employment again soon, although I will soon be sixty with a five year unemployment history. I don't want pity, as the last five years that I have grown with the Lord into a wonderful close relationship. Even though my brother has never approached me and in some way to make good of the wrong that was done to me. Ironically, I was not angery with my brother, but sad and very hurt to core of being. God by the power of the Holy Spirit gave me peace, love and forgiveness to what was done to me. I pray everyday for my brother and his family that they are doing well and I pray no ill will toward him. My prayer is that he and family will repent and come to know the saving grace of God through Jesus Christ. I could never pray God's vengeance on my brother. God will deliver mercy and judgement to whom he will. My brother and his wife dealt with me in evil greed, however God meant it good for me. God is Good all the time! I do pray that their life would be emotionally and spiritually miserable, until they turn to God with a contrite heart and a broken spirit. I rejoice in what God is molding me into a vessel of honor and he deserves all the praise and glory, for without Christ I am nothing, simply a bucket of water and dirt. With Christ I am a joint heir, a son of the living God, my Heavenly Father has all the riches of the universe that he freely share with me. Praise God. Pray for those that have wronged you, for those that despitefully use you. Pray for their salvation until the Holy Spirit tells you to stop praying for them. Romans chapter 6: verse 23 - "I am the way, the truth and the life: no one comes to the Father, but by me." (John 14: 6) - "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8 - "...Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:" 1 Cor. 15: 3-4 - Jesus died to pay the penalty for our sins and rescue us from eternal death. Because of who Jesus is all we have to do is believe in Him; trusting that the shedding of His blood on the cross and His death, burial and resurrection from the dead was payment for ALL our sins we will be saved! He conquered death to free us from sins judgment and He will call us up to His side one day in Glory; (John 14:3 ) whether we are living or have passed on and awaiting His call in Heaven. 2 Cor. 5:6-9. - "Because this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins." This is an amazing time that we live in. Prophecy is happening all around us. I have a couple of additional points that strengthen the position of Pre-Trib Rapture. 1) In Ephesians 5:25-27, the Church is cleansed by Jesus with the washing of Water with the Word so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish. The Saints who come out of the Great Tribulation wash their robes with the Blood of Jesus. There is a difference. 2) The whole 7 year period (Jacob's Trouble) is all about those who live on the earth atoning for their sins and unbelief. Especially Israel. God gave the Jews 7 Festivals to honor. The first 4 have been fulfilled and now all we have left are Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah), Yom Kipper (Day of Atonement), and Sukkot (Feat of Booths or Tabernacle). These Feast are God's appointed times and they will all be filled in the order that God has laid out. You can't mess with the order of them or it throws God's prophetic plan out of order. Can Pentecost come before First Fruits? No. You can't have the Holy Spirit before you are saved. Well, the Tribulation period is nothing but the world and Israel atoning for rejecting Jesus as the Messiah. We know how Jesus Pardons Israel at the second coming when as a Nation, they finally except and believe that Jesus is their long awaited Messiah. They have Atoned for their disbelief. The Rapture of the Church is a mystery according to Paul and why the Jews are to celebrate Feats of Trumpets is a mystery to and I believe fits the timing of the Rapture of the Church. No one knows the hour or day that the feast begins since it relies on the appearing of a new moon.The shofar is blown 100 times on this Feast Day and "at the sound of the Trump, we will all be changed from corruptible to incorruptible. From mortal to immortal." You can't put the Rapture in any part of the 7 year period because then you are putting the Day of Atonement (Yom Kipper) before the Feast of Trumpets. If you do, you are messing with the order God has laid out. 3)Those individuals that are part of the First Resurrection are those who were in the Tribulation and did not worship the Beast, his name, image, or take his mark. Jesus delegates their judgment to those seated on thrones so this is not the Judgment Seat of Christ and this happens after Christ Return and Satan is bound in the Bottomless Pit. They are resurrected but this is clearly not the Rapture since if everyone else who is alive is changed in that twinkling of an eye, there would be no one left in mortal bodies for the Sheep and Goat Judgement and there would be no one left in mortal bodies to repopulate the earth during the 1,000 rein of Christ. The Jews have always expected an earthly Kingdom and they will have that. The Church is expecting to go to Heaven and we can not do that in our current bodies. Jesus told the disciples in the upper room that He was going away to prepare a place for us which is in His Fathers House in Heaven. The Bride (Church) is different and we are part of the Body of Christ. Scripture tells us they We (The Bride) will reign with Christ forever but those who are part of the First Resurrection will be priest unto God and Jesus, and will reign with him for 1,000 years. Their reign is not forever but has a limit of 1,000 years which is in the Millennial Reign here on earth. The question I keep asking myself is "Is there bodies different than those talked about in Thessalonians. The Church has a body that is immortal and incorruptible but that language is not used for those who in the First Resurrection that came out of the Tribulation. They are given white robes, resurrected and judged by people other than Jesus. Can they be resurrected like those in the old testament were without the body we receive at the Rapture? In the letter to the Church of Philadelphia, which I believe is the body of Christ, we are told Rev 3:12 12 Him that over-cometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.Why does it tell us we will go out no more? In Rev 21:9-10 we see the Bride of the Lamb coming down and it is New Jerusalem. Are We, The Bride and Church, in the City and coming down to earth? We are told we will go out no more and our dwelling place that Jesus prepared for the church is in the city of New Jerusalem. Since the ones in the First Resurrection reign for 1,000 years and we were told to go out no more and New Jerusalem which is our home will come down to the earth after the 1,000 year reign and reign with Christ forever. This seem to make sense if I am understanding scripture correctly Rev 21:9-10 says------.9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,Just some points on why I feel we go in a Pre-Trib Rapture. I love the preaching but the pretrib is just not supported in scripture. Mathew 24 he talks about sending the Angel's after the tribulation of those days..... Where is the gathering of the saints ahead of this? He just skips over this?? Revelation 16 verse 15 he comes as a thief. Look what happens before and afterwards. All the parables have only one return or harvest. So many examples and none can be used to support the gathering before this. It's the wrath of satan not the wrath of GOD. The wrath of GOD is at the end not on the elect. Other than this I really love the preaching.
Who are the great multitude if not the church? Is this a 3rd category that are not Jews or church but are saved? Are they saved by works since the Holy Spirit(restrainer) is removed? Is there a different gospel to come? If the purpose of Jacob's trouble is the salvation of the Jews why is there only few of them but a countless number of gentiles saved?

The Rapture of the Church is a mystery according to Paul and why the Jews are to celebrate Feats of Trumpets is a mystery to and I believe fits the timing of the Rapture of the Church. No one knows the hour or day that the feast begins since it relies on the appearing of a new moon.The shofar is blown 100 times on this Feast Day and "at the sound of the Trump, we will all be changed from corruptible to incorruptible. From mortal to immortal." You can't put the Rapture in any part of the 7 year period because then you are putting the Day of Atonement (Yom Kipper) before the Feast of Trumpets. If you do, you are messing with the order God has laid out. 3)Those individuals that are part of the First Resurrection are those who were in the Tribulation and did not worship the Beast, his name, image, or take his mark. Jesus delegates their judgment to those seated on thrones so this is not the Judgment Seat of Christ and this happens after Christ Return and Satan is bound in the Bottomless Pit. They are resurrected but this is clearly not the Rapture since if everyone else who is alive is changed in that twinkling of an eye, there would be no one left in mortal bodies for the Sheep and Goat Judgement and there would be no one left in mortal bodies to repopulate the earth during the 1,000 rein of Christ. The Jews have always expected an earthly Kingdom and they will have that. The Church is expecting to go to Heaven and we can not do that in our current bodies. Jesus told the disciples in the upper room that He was going away to prepare a place for us which is in His Fathers House in Heaven. The Bride (Church) is different and we are part of the Body of Christ. Scripture tells us they We (The Bride) will reign with Christ forever but those who are part of the First Resurrection will be priest unto God and Jesus, and will reign with him for 1,000 years. Their reign is not forever but has a limit of 1,000 years which is in the Millennial Reign here on earth. The question I keep asking myself is "Is there bodies different than those talked about in Thessalonians. The Church has a body that is immortal and incorruptible but that language is not used for those who in the First Resurrection that came out of the Tribulation. They are given white robes, resurrected and judged by people other than Jesus. Can they be resurrected like those in the old testament were without the body we receive at the Rapture? In the letter to the Church of Philadelphia, which I believe is the body of Christ, we are told Rev 3:12 12 Him that over-cometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.Why does it tell us we will go out no more? In Rev 21:9-10 we see the Bride of the Lamb coming down and it is New Jerusalem. Are We, The Bride and Church, in the City and coming down to earth? We are told we will go out no more and our dwelling place that Jesus prepared for the church is in the city of New Jerusalem. Since the ones in the First Resurrection reign for 1,000 years and we were told to go out no more and New Jerusalem which is our home will come down to the earth after the 1,000 year reign and reign with Christ forever. This seem to make sense if I am understanding scripture correctly Rev 21:9-10 says------.9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,Just some points on why I feel we go in a Pre-Trib Rapture. Where is the gathering of the saints ahead of this? He just skips over this??
Revelation 16 verse 15 he comes as a thief. Look what happens before and afterwards.
All the parables have only one return or harvest.
So many examples and none can be used to support the gathering before this.
It's the wrath of satan not the wrath of GOD. The wrath of GOD is at the end not on the elect.

Who are the great multitude if not the church? Is this a 3rd category that are not Jews or church but are saved? Are they saved by works since the Holy Spirit(restrainer) is removed? Is there a different gospel to come? If the purpose of Jacob's trouble is the salvation of the Jews why is there only few of them but a countless number of gentiles saved?
