I might be wrong, but I think that's just considered single F because that naming starts on the notes outside the system which would make G the lowest note to use it.
The most beautiful instrument in the world... thèse incredible harmonics, and wonderful large sound ! One miracle inside the Richard Strauss' orchestral works....
Man you make those double notes sound so clean! I am getting better and practicing more on my high range and now I am able to hit double c as a senior in high school on a good day. I’ve realized it’s more about the technique rather than just trying to force it out which drastically helped me view high notes differently. Even though I could play that double f there is no way I could make it sound as good as you did!
I love the Alpine Symphony! I was listening to the Blomstedt recording and I heard this which was not on the original score, so I figured something must have been up 😂. Nice work!
I don’t know anything about partition sheet music but I’ve would love to know what the heck is a High D or a double F and why it’s so impressive to master both of them ? PS : Im from France and I can’t understand why in the middle school Music classes we played basic shitty flute instead of this magnificient French Horn
Basically the notes are really high - beyond reasonable to expect in a live symphony performance, but not impossible to hit so sometimes people add them in concerts
DOUBLE F?! That doesn’t even sound real 🤯

@@gunnarkilborn3915 As a horn player I know the F at the top of the staff is high F, so I go from that and call the next octave double F.
@@AAronSmithFH That's true, as a trumpet player we would probably call it high one octave higher.
Amazing sound, love it
DOUBLE F HOLYYYY😮 IMPRESSIVE I CANT EVEN HIT THAT ON MELLOPHONE
I hit it on mello ONCE for like 2 seconds and then ran out of breath instantly
@@curdust I can only hit a high C sometimes C# if I'm lucky 😭
Thats EZ

Guys, he kept holding the note AFTER he went off screen. 😂 Funniest thing I’ve seen in a while!!!
Uh uh uh uh uh that's just the background recording hanging over for sure for sure
Maravilloso!!! 😂😂😂 bravo!!!
Scott, you crack me up every dang time. 🤣
Dude you are such a rockstar. I’m grateful to play the same instrument you do!

I think David Krehbiel does the high D with Blomstedt and San Francisco.

They should make a horn to Bass tuba mouthpiece adapter i think it would be funny to hit tuba screamers

I wish I could sound like that 😢
Watch me do on trombone asking with the arturo santolv lick 😂😂😂.
Most trumpet players hate Sinfonia Domestica.
I think ive heard the D, not not the F
No one would ever do this live lol
Hah! Noyce!
Really nice! :O This was played with a triple horn in F, right?
