Firstly, 3600 is the data rate measured in MT/s not frequency in MHz. The latter is actually half of what the manufacturers want you to believe. And this is far from being anything close to a "safe" memory overclocking method since it misses out on two crucial aspects. 1. Manually tuning the memory controller voltage rails (VCCIO and VCCSA for Intel, VSOC for AMD) cause leaving them on "Auto" can be disastrous for long-term use. 2. Stability testing (with state-of-the-art tools) Also, there is no mention of memory timings. Higher clock speed doesn't automatically mean more performance. Its a tradeoff between bandwidth and latency or sequential vs. random accesses. Leave all timings on "Auto" and the UEFI/BIOS will train memory with absolutely loose timings as you keep bumping frequency.
Every processor has its maximum theoretical memory bandwidth. For example yours has 50 GBit/s. Then if you have dual channel memory, let's calculate. 50/8=6.25GBytes/s. 6.25/2=3.125=3125 Mbytes/s. If your processors bandwith is 50, you can use 3125 memory in dual channel mode. Or 2100 memory in tripple channle mode. Everything depends on your processor. Dont initiate XMP in BIOS before calculating what I wrote above. Your system will not be stable otherwise.
That makes absolutely no sense in terms of affecting stability. Its a demand vs. supply thing. If the supply is higher than the demand, then it doesn't really affect stability. In fact, for efficiency, demand also increases a bit as prefetching into caches can now be done more aggressively. There's a reason why people often bump up the ring ratio on Intel CPUs when overclocking memory to get a cascaded effect of higher bandwidth and lower latency. Neither does this make sense w.r.t to physical signalling. There's usually a lot more headroom in there.

I am having an unusual issue. i have R5 1600 processor , Corsair Vengeance 3000Mhz (2*8GB) RAM kit and MSI 450M Pro VDH motherboard but my RAM sticks are running only on 2133MHz instead of 3000MHz. Turning on A-XMP or manual OC from bios is not helping me out and RAM sticks are working only on 2133Mhz which is stock. Updated the bios but same issue. Even i have changed my motherboard and bought Asrock B450M steel legend and used Crucial Ballistix sport 3200Mhz(8GB*2)kit but found same issue. Could you please help me out.
