The Warning, ironically, use social media better than anyone to addict fans to their music and their personal stories and charisma. Yet they warn us... Yes, put down the phone and enjoy the concert. The official video of a concert will be far better than what the smartphone captures. This song is amazing as the title track of their first album. They were 17, 15, and 12 at release! They just don't release bad songs. I sat down one afternoon a while back and played all three of their album CDs from start to finish. Wow.
Before he went offline, everyone could "see" him and did not bump into him despite wearing blindfolds. After he went offline they started to bump into him as if he was not there. He is so unfocused, disoriented, and dispondent... but instead of taking his own life, he takes a leap of faith to re-enter the world without he blindfold and in due course he "infects' two other people remove their blindfolds.I think the guy splitting ont he ground is more like what happens in The Matrix. So in effect, this was him completely unplugging. This is exactly what the enforcers don't want to happen and what their directors fear because they will lose control over the people. This is why the enforcers are sent to "collect" those who go offline and remove their blindfolds. They have to be removed from society or reprogrammed. Yes, pretty deep story for three young girls to come up with. I believe Ale was 10 or 11 when this was composed.
Not about suicide guys...the guy made a leap of faith off the building after "awakening" from the social media prison he was in, he survived and this is a Warning for all of us from these very young girls...message received. Thanks for your reaction.
They are the real deal... couldn't agree more 👍 And on the topic of mental health, these girls are so amazing, not only on their music, but also on being really nice persons and showing how you can be a top class rockstar while still being joyful, kind and level-headed, that they are also healers of the soul. Ale had to miss part of school to record the album, she missed part of the 4TH GRADE. Yeah, you got the message of the song. 2 teens and a preteen writing a song with such a deep meaning that most their age would never even consider. 🤘🤘From what I heard, the guy taking off the blindfold in the parking garage in the beginning is the director they hired for the video. The video for Noise by Nightwish has a similar message. But TW's XXI Century Blood came out 3 years before Noise. Together forever with the paperboy? Does that mean you got a free newspaper for life? 🤣😁

Funny you said that about recording something & ending up missing the event… my niece took her boys to see the eclipse & of course was recording them & taking pictures & her big takeaway was she barely got to see it herself & totally missed the experience of it.
