    About Me
    =================
Guitarist and bassist with more than 10 years of experience performing live across the U.S. I play and enjoy music of all kinds but I enjoy rock the most. I recently stumbled upon The Warning and was so impressed by them as both, musicians and people, that I decided to fully dedicate this channel to their music. It is rare to see great talented bands nowadays and this is my way to share with the world how great they are.
Aside from music, I also enjoy chess, programming and sports.

The fact that all these big iconic bands keep inviting them to play with them tells you it's not because they're a gimmick but because they're super talented, professional and amazing live performers.

They opened four shows for Muse in Mexico last year and the guys liked them so much that they invited them on to the U.K. and Europe for five more shows. Matt Bellamy even give Dany a one-of-a-kind Manson guitar.

They played NJ in July 2022, so this MTV interview is almost 2 years old now. Pau mentioned they did 14 shows by this time, but she only included the shows from that Halestorm/TPR tour, not their own tour prior. That show they did the night before this interview was #51 for 2022. Talk about Humble! ⚡

There's been a lot of people saying that The Warning wasn't asked by Metallica to participate on their blacklist album, and they only got invited after Alecia Cara was asked to contribute and it was their record label that brought the Warning in to help. Well, it seems Metallica did ask the Warning directly based on what Pau said during this interview. It always seemed strange that Metallica wouldn't have asked them, as they had previously recognized them for their 2014 cover of Enter Sandman.

From my understanding from many interviews, Alessia Cara was the one invited originally, but she was not so sure what to do as a pop artist with the Metallica song. When the proposition to add The Warning came in, they had to ask Metallica for the approval to add The Warning since it was on invitation. They got the OK from Metallica so yes they got invited by Metallica, but they where not invited first hand. The thing is that the dead line for the submission was 11 days away or so when they got OK. Then they nailed it like. Those girls and their team are really incredible.

How they answer the question for the 100th time should not be dissected... they give the simple and less confusing answer which is "we were invited my Metallica"
They have already explained in detail a number of times in diff IG lives and interviews that Alessia Cara along with other well established and well known artists from diff music genres were asked to participate in the Album. Alessia then through their shared connection invited the Warning to join her.
I'm sure that once The Warning agreed to join Alessia in the cover Metallica had to approve the inclusion of the Warning, you could then say that Metallica then invited the Warning after Alessia asked the Warning to join her. If Alessia had not asked the Warning to join her they would not have been asked.
I would think that a reason why The Warning was not among the bands originally asked by Metallica was because The Warning was and is still not considered a well know band, I would say they are an up and coming band.

@@stephanebouchard9197 What people don't understand, and this has become clear from the band talking about it on many occasions, is that it's not like Lars called up Alessia and asked if she would do it, and then maybe Dany called James and said "Can we do it too?" We know that, but that's how the negativity crowd think it works. It's clear that DPA don't necessarily know who called who, it's really an empty point. There are so many layers of management even a couple years ago when they were less known. Metallica has been aware of them for years. It's possible but unlikely that the core members of Metallica selected ANY of the contributors directly. Sure they looked them over and signed off on it, but they probably leave incredible amounts of things like that up to their staff. We all realize that, but whenever you get someone questioning who called who, you know that they just don't understand the numbers of staff and agents involved in these things.

Nice reaction. Didn´t know the clip. If the host hasn´t look thru the notes he´s an idiot, if the production tells him nothing, they should get some tough words from thier boss.

2022 with Halestorm & 100+ shows for North and South America including a Canadian leg with Three Days Grace. 2023 with Muse and not quite as many shows but part of that was travel since they added Europe to their schedule as well as North and South America. This year they have done some festivals and just finished a 19 show tour of Europe that they sold out. They may add some more but they are scheduled up to November with a brief tour in Japan , another fairly long leg in Europe, a few festivals in the USA and then a Fall tour through Canada with Halestorm and Evanescence.

@@lonelywind3511 Then the show I missed was from the 2023 tour, that is the one missed and from the way it's looking I won't be able to see them until 2025 because it does not look like there will be any U.S tour this year.
Ever since I discovered them I have been following them on RUclips, so I am up to date on the schedules and shows.
      Thank you.

@@SDsailor7 Hang in there. They will be in the US for 5 weeks end of 2024 summer for those 4 festivals that span coast to cost. They can play a lot of headlining shows in that time frame. NJ, KY, OK, & CA in that order, and I'm positive they will book venues around each of them, and as they travel west by land.

I don't usually watch reactions to interviews, but you did a great job on this. I think it's important for TW to be clear that they're a Mexican band, especially at this point in their career where they aren't well known, otherwise people will assume they're from the US. They've put in a lot of work to speak English fluently, and it shows. If I didn't know better, I'd say they were from California.

Not exactly a rare occurrence, as Pink Floyd noted back in 1975:
"Well, I've always had a deep respect and I mean that most sincere
The band is just fantastic, that is really what I think
Oh, by the way, which one's pink?"
