    I am a Spanish native speaker. I literally suffered learning english through the years and I still have an accent and commit mistakes. Then I see these sisters with articulated english and speaking with that fluency. Playing their instruments with tons of skills and if that is not enough all of them play piano too! and they write their own songs. You can assume that they are smart and you confirm it with all these interviews. On top of that they look like they are friendly persons with good vibes. They seem to me super human.

    They all do a great job in interviews. All three are well-spoken and obviously intelligent. Even more, they are very judicious in their answers, even if the interviewer isn't particularly good. The interviews you chose were very solid and the interviewers were connected and interested.

      This definitely demonstrates those points! I wish there was a More deep interview with Pau, as she seemed to be very aware of the significance of the hlag points in the interview and was not as intense as she can be, but she did handle herself extremely well for the ripe old age of 16!

    With all due respect to Dany and Pau, Ive always found Ale the more insightful out of the 3. She doesnt always answer quesrions or talks, but always has the more insightful comment when she does, even when she was very young. To the point that both Dany and Pau have always consistently look to her for clarification or even approval. The respect they have for her is immense.
    I also would like to see her talk on other topics outside of just music. I feel she is an extremely unique person, as she grew up: in a 3 piece all female HARD/Metal band since she was literally a child.
    She is not a child actress behind a camera, nor a pop artist sheltered from the world.
    She was 12 playing rock music in front of large crowds as a ‘girl’ in an extremely testosterone filled world.
    I mean imagine how hard it is for any avg girl growing up in this social media age, now imagine growing up with 60 year old men making comments about your looks when you’re that young in person. Going to perform and having every staff and crew member doubt you’re an artist and expect you to fail.
    Her experiences have made her unique and wise beyond her years.

    • @don-music
      @don-music  Год назад +8

      I’ve thought those exact things about how she grew up. It must be so different for her compared to most people, but the good thing is that hopefully she’s learned to ignore and distrust and filter out so if the flattering crap from men, and let’s be honest she also has been crushed on by female reactors… and I’m sure she has seen all of that stuff. With that behind her, i hope the she has improved perspective for reading people who are fake and wanting something versus real and sincerely interested in intelligent questions.

      You must be dreaming. Ale doesn't have a lot to contribute in terms of insight. She is a great bass player but Pau & Dany are the creative forces in The Warning. In terms of interview Pau talks too fast. Dany's interview was the most insightful and Dany has this calmness and sweetness about her which makes her the perfect spokesperson for the band.

  • @elgonwilliams7624
    @elgonwilliams7624 Год назад +16

    Dany is the one of the three with the strongest accent, but it is a weird one. You can only tell from the way she miss-hits on certain words, ones that she doesn't use as often. But otherwise she has a flat, American accent that I think someone in comments has already called Midwestern, that is used in broadcasting schools, so almost everyone on national US media uses that.

    • @don-music
      @don-music  Год назад +9

      That’s fascinating… i hear that at times also…. Both the Midwestern accent and what sounds like she sometimes thinks words in the order of Spanish sentence structure, not English… Like in the gear rundowns frequently calling it a Helix (pause to think) Line6, for example, when it’s actually a Line6 Helix…. As in Spanish sometimes order is reversed for certain phrases compared to English.
      And yes there is a buy of Spanish tone at times.

    • @rexwave4624
      @rexwave4624 Год назад +5

      She often softens or drops the sound of "t". But, having her her voice so often, I don't hear it unless I think about it. I agree about the American accent, but I don't think it's the broadcasting accent. Maybe Texas? As a Canadian, I hear the American accents very strongly, but the American broadcasting accent sounds more "natural" to me, i.e., closer to Ontario Canadian. American broadcasting has always filled our airwaves, so I've heard it since childhood. Now, I hear Canadian regional accents, too. It's an interesting idea to me because I love languages.

    I had seen Ale and Pau's interview, but not Dany's. Absolutely one of the best I have seen. Always fun to listen to Ale. I hope to live long enough to see and hear Ale sing 'her very own solo song' some day. Honestly, she has had the voice to do it for quite a while. The "Funny Moments' videos allow us to hear her voice, wether in her speech, her laughter, her screams and I can hear her voice, waiting to shine. Pau's interview was great, informative, and really pointed to the emergence of women in the Rock genre.....bur I miss seeing her facial expressions when she talks. Would love to have a picture of her precisely when she said her name Pow, not Pau, but POW!!! Thanks Don, for putting this together!!

    TW’s studio albums, OMV’s and live performances keep the fans enthralled with their instrumental, vocal and compositional prowess but it’s all the vlog’s, interviews and other social media interactions they do that endears them to fans individually and collectively as a band.
    When you have the rare combination of high level talent, charisma, work ethic and character it’s not surprising that people are drawn to them and they have and continue to succeed.

    Earlier comments have covered pretty much all of my thoughts on this so I'll leave a suggestion for another reaction/analysis since we're deep diving into their off-stage lives. Along the same lines as this video, you could explore things the sisters have done on their own (not interviews). Pau has done a masterclass and the Hit Like a Girl judging (with a duet with Faith Benson). Dany has appeared with Three Days Grace and there's a video of Ale doing her Spector photoshoot. There might be more out there but I can't think of anything at the moment. They tend to do everything together, go figure.

    Super impressed by the intelligence of all these young ladies. I've been watching lots of interviews and things with all of them and have come to a couple conclusions. One...I think Ale is much more extroverted than people realize. In group press situations she's very quite...but in solo interviews or real life situations she's definitely talkative. Conversely, I think Dany is probably a bit more naturally introverted than you'd expect. She's still extroverted...but I think some of that is because she's been the eldest sibling and thus the spokesperson of the band for so long. I'd bet that privately she enjoys a little quiet, alone time.

    • @don-music
      @don-music  7 месяцев назад

      That’s fascinating…. I can see that being true. I think Dany isn’t shy in the slightest though, where as Ale can be? Pau is more than extroverted imho… she’s missing a filter or two…. But yes on their own they are very different. All three are different.
      I’m just thinking out loud and just woke up, so I’m tossing thoughts around. I do believe you are probably correct.

    It must be such a pleasure to interview any of them individually or together cuz they are always so nice, polite, and well spoken no matter what language the interview is in. I feel like Dany is naturally good in interviews cuz she is such a people person and that interviewer did ask some out of the box questions despite not being that familiar with their catalog. Ale mentioned that KOOL AID KIDS is her favorite song off ERROR and it's mine as well, mainly cuz of the lyrics and message but also the groove. I was a little surprised Ale didn't mention Rush as one of her top 5 bands but it is difficult to narrow it down to just 5 all time favorite artists. I can't think of a better representative for young female drummers than Pau, so that's awesome that they made her a judge for that competition.

    • @don-music
      @don-music  Год назад +3

      yea she at that point was clearly in a rather humbled state still about the whole experience, I feel, from listening. Very respectful and not super driven to educate and inform with so much information in her head she's trying to get out fast.... where if she was talking about a recent show or experience or something about writing a The Warning song, she may have been more intense. But I like that interview because it showscases her being humble and respectful and grateful in an interview which is really about her being a mega celebrity already and offered not only to be the face of a super important brand to her (hit like a girl) but even a JUDGE on it, when she's humbly saying how she opted out of competing the prior year. Very endearing!

    What a great idea Don! I’ve seen each of these but never back to back to back. The maturity, wisdom and their inherently humble nature are so evident even in solo interviews. Their work ethic, and the synergy so apparent in their creative approach, is incredibly impressive. As a creative person, to understand at these young ages that though you feel the piece you create is never done, is incredible. That usually comes with a lot more years and pain, trials and tribulations. I love that Ale got to answer the question of what makes her happy and she answered, “Playing with my sisters” and that getting that buzz from a receptive audience made them happy. Dany had a similar answer. To quote the Jordan Davis country song Buy Dirt, “Do what you love and call it work.” Dany, Pau and Ale are great role models what ever your age.

    And no; I'm not really astonished by Ale's answers... I suspect - while all of them are clearly highly intelligent - Ale is the most "carefully thoughtful" of the three. Every person looks at things a different way, and views their experiences through a different "filter"... but I think Ale is a tad more analytical.
