update. They recently finished a tour with The Pretty Reckless, and Halestorm. Lzzy Hale gave Dany one of own signature Gibson Explorers.
I’m a 35 year old Rush fan who loves progressive music and am always searching for that new, modern band who can make me feel the way I did when I first heard Rush and Muse for the first time. Honestly, these girls and their band The Warning just may be the best band I’ve ever heard…and that’s just based on their newest album ERROR. So much musical and lyrical maturity at such a young age is astounding! I literally had goosebumps on every song for the entire album. I just want to thank Wings of Pegasus for supporting them and bringing them to my attention again. I can say without a doubt I will be a lifelong fan of theirs!!! The way I’m absorbed into the music and atmosphere they create is unmatched. Never compromise girls…PLEASE!!!
Rush, Muse and the Warning. Something tells me you have a penchant for 3-pieces :-) All 3 are true greats though, I agree.
Likewise, I keep wondering am I crazy? This music is so good on every level and I can’t seem to get enough of it. It’s so clever and fun and… I could go on. What incredible taste they have! Gobsmacked. Glad people like Fil are here to affirm that no, we’re not crazy, it really is as good as we think!
That drummer is a beast!
👍
Look up unmendable than you see what for a beast she is
The drummer is a genius
I watched enough of their videos to figure out that Pau's name is what she does, POW
I love this band! Thanks for the view.
No problem!
Their age and gender make them an inspiration. Their music will make them legends.
I was in the front row of this gig, trust me, the live performance was 100 times better, the energy was off the charts. I was sitting right in front of Ale the Bassist.
My view from the front row😎 ruclips.net/video/HBKpCIkjEJ8/видео.html
Yeah I remember you got all the bass.
Scott Greer I only wish I had a better camera instead of an iPad 🤔 like I had at the Whisky a Go Go
I was jealous....
I really envy you Elvin.
This never gets old. The whole program was a TED Talk at University of Nevada that included two more songs and The Warning talking very professionally about their life story. THAT was even more amazing than just this song. They make adults cry tears of joy on cue.
Stunning talent. !! Impressive !! I’m excited to have more - new - great music to listen to -They are Fantastic !! Thanks for this analysis Fil. !!
after seeing the last show I can say without a doubt that Dany is a real rockstar, shes becoming a great frontman for the band
Late arrival ... just discovered this Band a few weeks ago ( by accident -ha ) .. I'm 66 years old and I'm besotted with this music ( & Band ). I've grown up through the sixties and early 70's were my formative music years ( loved it ). I play guitar and been in a Band in my teens. We learn't songs by lifting the needle off the record back and forth ( ha ! ). Just wanna say I'm so impressed with these girls, their love of the music, overall skill & charm, and professionalism. Still catching up with all their music ... needless to say , not much new music has tickled my fancy like this . Their melodies, riffs, vocals, arrangements and overall musicianship is a pleasure to watch and listen too !! Well described Fil ..
Your the best that I’ve seen anywhere ,breaking down a song. Class act
I dont know what its called but the part where they arr groving near the end ...PHENOMENAL !!!! I keep listening over and over ..
I knew this band last week, after a search in RUclips. For an old rocker, it was one of the best bands rising in the last years. A great power trio playing rock and roll with no bullshitt.
So very glad you have picked the Warning to react to. They are a very special band and their future is huge I believe.
No problem!
Holy shit!! From seeing my nephew drum I know it’s a very physical instrument. Her voice stays strong. Notice how the other girls are singing? Their voices “feel” the music. They are what I call punching the lyrics. And I see I’ve already commented on this video! 😬 Namaste. Lodie
Wow! They are excellent and they rock like hell. I am a fan of Band-Maid, so female rockers are no surprise, but OMG are they good in their own right, never mind for having an average age of 14!
Wow! Love their attitude, and they look as if they are really enjoying playing. Excellent song, they definitely possess that indefinable "it" factor. Honestly, way better thank most male bands I hear. Thanks, Fil, for bringing attention to this band - looking forward to watching them for many years to come.
Thanks for explaining the details! In the comment section of what is being shown here, I quoted Dani saying before she played this, "Music is passion, music is hope, music is life!" Then she proves what she says! It now has over 260 thumbs up, and is a famous quote for the ages. The trio are multi instrumental (Dani can rock a saxaphone too) combined musical genius, and practice, practice, practice for over 5 hours a day! These girls never expected or intended for this phenomenon to happen, they were just discovered innocently practicing their home hobby, fun and games and have said they now hope to do this for the rest of their lives.
👍
I'm from the future, 2022. You have reviewed them again and they have blown minds around the world. A review of Error would be cool.
Fantastically incredible analysis.
The drummer is a Prodigy.....Very impressive.
These girls are great. Period.
These girls are incredible, been watching them play for about a year now.
Oh yeah, these 3 young ladies have a long great, and beautiful future ahead of them. Bless them, and I really wish them a greatness. Just love watching them.
I have watched this Gentleman comment many times before. I Never seen him so fired up about a band. Never have I seen him comment like this . He was so impressed x 2000. He can't believe at such young age. The Warning Rocks on their own terms and pulled it off like true rocking professional that they really are. Larga Vida The Warning.
👍
I'll second that my friend.
Holy crap. They're great.
Great Analysis, & great performance by The Warning @ 12, 14, & 16yrs old Villarreal Sisters from Monterrey, Mexico! Today Daniela 19yrs old, Paulina 17yrs old, & Alejandra 14yrs old. 2 CD's out "21st Century Blood" 2017, & "Queen of the Murder Scene" 2018. I'm a 70yr old male that loves this band, with no Rock background!
Cool!
Jimmy, you're just a kid. My 98 year old grandad is a huge fan too.
These girls are great and getting better.
The best breakdown of these extremely talented young ladies. Thanks for your insight. It was more than entertaining. It was very informative.
I've been watching these girls for a few years. At the risk of repeating myself, and I know I am, they're all great but that drummer is something very special.
I caught on that in seconds with their very first videos, the drummer is the special one.
@@ScragNath, have you seen the later ones? Ale is a monster on the bass. Triple threaf. Bass, keys, vocals and she has increased her stage presence so she prowls the stage like a long legged cat.
@@michaelbrickley2443 Yes, I have seen some recent ones. The bassist looks awkward and her movement is too exaggerated for me.
Absolutely. First time I saw they were still very young and I was mostly impressed with the oldest of the three, who has a very mature voice, and didn't sound like a teenager at all. But the more I listen, the more impressed I am with the drummer. Her super energetic style with big motions reminds me of Dave Grohl, but she's also an amazing singer with a very bright voice that she can put a lot of anger and grit in when she wants to, but most of all, she does it all at the same time! Singing drummers are surprisingly rare (Dave Grohl stopped drumming when he started the Foo Fighters, Phil Collins stopped drumming when he became the singer of Genesis; how many real singing drummers are there? Roger Taylor of Queen is all I can come up with at the moment), but she nails it. She drums complex stuff and stays right on top of the singing.
The other two are very good, and together they're fantastic, but that drummer is something else.
@@ScragNath That's a matter of choice and style, and doesn't really matter to the music itself. But check out the bass groove on Dust to Dust (probably my favourite song from The Warning).
They are Awesome i´ve been following them for a few years now since i saw them live in a festival in Monterrey Mexico and their performance was perfect, and i fell in love with their music! it´s great to see that they are getting recognized not only here in Mexico, this girls have a lot of talent!
👍
Wow I was really impressed with this band but after your early analysis I am completely awestruck!!! They clearly are even more talented than my untrained ears are picking up. Phil that was one of the best explanation in simple terms anyone can understand I have ever heard!!! A super job by these women and even better job of analysis by you!! They play with such joy and passion and you can't fake that, and it is so refreshing. Raw and full of energy the way music was meant to be played and heard. I agree with you LIVE even with some mistakes is so much better than any auto-tuned sanitized presentation put out today!!!
THE WARNINGS USA, CANADIAN, EUROPEAN TOUR - "MAYDAY" STARTED LAST WEEK! TIME TO DIVE BACK IN!
My mouth dropped when you gave their ages...WOW....lol. They should be called Phenom.
Their new album, "Queen of the Murder Scene", is seriously upped to their first one!!!
Here we are again, 2 1/2 years since you first put this out, Fil.
The ladies have signed with Lava and they are erupting onto the scene.
Their cover of "Enter Sandman" with Alessia Cara is popping up all over
popular media. The crew covering the Texas A&M game used it as bumper music
after halftime today.
Their first recording sessions with Lava produced so much that it's going
to be released in two EP's.
"Choke" and "Evolve" are climbing the charts.
It's been a wonderful ride, so far. I hope I live long enough to see them become
mega-stars. Odds are looking poorly, but who knows. I've been fighting cancer since
'05 and I haven't had a new tumor in 16 months. maybe I will make it.
They are older now. The sound from their new concept album is edgier and harder. All three are hugely talented
The warning is the next up coming band
20. 17 and 16 years old. That's old 4 U ???
Emilio Montalvo I think The Warning, Jinjer, and Alien Weaponry are going to blow up in the next few years.
@@MA-zv8wn _Older now_ doesn't mean _old_ .
You are _older now_ than you were yesterday.
This is the best young live band going today. So damn impressive. The over stylized, over affected young men from Greta Van Fleet should watch these girls and take some lessons
Love 'em both; great modern rock bands alike, and would absolutely love to see them do a project together (that'll never happen, but would be great to see and would be great to give more attention to them both).
Thank you so much for bringing this band to my attention!! bloody amazing!
I greatly appreciate the musical education that I get from your reviews, Thank you! You have a wonderful way of explaining the complex nuances in terms that are easy for the average, even non-musical person, to understand.
Good reaction amazing band you've been Warned 🤘🤘🤘🤘
I'm a jazz enthusiast however these gals have a unique sound that is a combination between rock and jazz. They definitely know what they are doing music wise. I usually can't stand rock. But, they are different and very good. I like their sound.
That drummer steals the show visually, love her expressions, they all understand showmanship.
She is only 16 I think.
She was actually only 14 at the time about to turn 15 a few weeks later. She's now 17.@@Guardducks
She was wailing on those drums, very cool. They have a lot of energy
@@jbartyparty7398 I was close. Lol thanks
👍
Whoa 😮 it’s cool 😎 to see another British person listening to The Warning has I’m also British too! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
😂🤘
I have been following The Warning for over four years (before they came out of the basement), I am a Patreon supporter and a number one fan at the age of 74. To have watched them grow over the years and develop their immense talent has been a gift. You must check out their latest album Queen of the Murder Scene, it is an amazing work taking them to the next level.
Cool!
Great analysis. I love this band.
My brain exploded when Fil told us the bass player is 12. 12 ...!! (mouth agape: "whu...")
😂👍
And she was just barely a month past her 12th birthday.
They remind me of the band Fanny. A great female band in the 70's.
Well, in a show live they transmitted tons of energy. A have the pleasure of see it in the HELL & HEAVEN fest in Mexico city and I can tell you. They're amazing!!
These young ladies give me hope for the future of modern music.
Singing and drumming at the same time and not missing a beat.
The young lady's in this band are are really good. The drummer she is on fire for a 14 year old.
I drove from my home town in Texas to McAllen Texas and rode with my friend who happens to speak Spanish. Then we drove to Monterrey and I saw them myself and they have stage presence that Greta van Fleet does not have . All I can say when they come to the states you wont be disappointed
Tha Warning aré opening to Stryper un Escena Bar un Monterrey this Febraury.
I found these girls a year ago on RUclips, they truly are awesome. It is cool to watch the early videos just to see how they got better and better in just a few years. I'll bet their parents are very proud of them.
This was a hell of a lot of fun, how could you not get worked up with that energy? Fantastic and a mind-blowing drummer!
👍
Greg, when you've watched the first song of this clip you'll understand why the audience were laughing at the drummer Pau when she start to speak, ruclips.net/video/pj5ue3M-v6o/видео.html
The video also give a lot of info about them between the songs.
My favorite band of the last few years! ❤👏
Wow, they have some serious pipes, and they can sure play!
👍
Welcome to being warned!
Hi, WoP. I really appreciate such a gracious critique. Thank you for doing this.
No problem!
Wow - great musicians, great singers and technically savvy to boot. It will be a huge injustice if these girls don't become pretty famous in the near future (on their own terms, of course).
👍
Phantom Echelon In a Spanish interview, a reporter asked them a question relating to fame. Their answer was that they never set out to become famous but if it happens then that would be a plus. Theirs priority goal is to become the best musicians they can possibly be.
I am one of their Patrons, and helped with the kickstarter campaign they had to pay for their latest album. Hail, hail rock and roll!
Cool!
How/where do I do that for their 3rd? Is there a minimum?
Myself, as well, both a Patreon and Kickstarter supporter. The Warning deserve every respect, enthusiasm & encouragement. This is the stuff of legends.
@@Katolikk61 John, if you are directing me there... Thanks, but, I am a Patreon of The Warning. And, before, I knew about Patreon, I created this thread for The Warning, HERE --> idolforums.com/topic/741320-the-warning%E2%9D%97/
And, I have a ticket for their gig in Vancouver... when they can be free, again, to do the Tour
Nice! Girl power. 🤘🏻💓💓
Wow! They are awesome! Thanks for featuring this fabulous band. "I'm not Mexican" is the most adorable comment you have made. Thanks for all you do.
😂
TW' ENERGY precisely! These girls project they're having fun performing for their fans. This is why I'm a fervent FAN!
This is a tremendous live band! They are as good as any big name band. The only show I have been to, that was “cleaner” was The Eagles, on their out of Eden tour. Alejandra, and Paulina are a first rate rhythm section. They play freaking LOUD, as well.
Fourth Warningversary and it's all thanks to this video, It's also my fourth anniversary (after you posted your Dust to Dust analysis) of being a member of The Warning's Patreon community. Again thank you for introducing me to this amazing band and I'm looking forward to more awesome content you may make of them. Rock on Fil!!!
I have a feeling they are going bust loose in a few years. They will be a breath of fresh air to the same old top 40 music.
I love it when you introduce us to new artist!.... if you hadn't explained what technology they were using I wouldn't have noticed it...These girls are amazingly talented...unbelievable at their young age they can produce they're own music to this level! Yes just as you do! So happy to be one of your patrons!...Thanks Fil!...✌❤🤘
Thanks Lori!
Welcome to being warned!
I buy everything they put out, their actual Album QOTMS is much harder, and way beyond the first one.
Present and future. Girls save rock and roll. Mexican jewels 😎😎😎!!!
Again, fresh Rock n Roll !!!!!
Love it, rock on ladies !👿👿👿
I have to add another comment about you in general:
Your pronunciation is so good, you don't "eat" your words, that I can actually understand each single word you say. It is very pleasant to listen to you, almost like it's poetry. A calm and clear voice
So thank you for that too.
Haha thanks!
Oh man, very clever, now I understand how backtrack works, and how really talented are these super musicians!
All three of these musicians are awesome, but that drummer is amazing with how easy she makes it look, even in heels :o)
👍
these girls ROCK - DOUBLE KUDOS for the noise from a 3 PIECE!!!
🤘
Wow Fil, never heard this girls, they really jam, very talented, impressive, I'm going to research them. Thanks Fil, there is nothing like a live performance, that's the reason I like to go to a bar watch a band play live is just priceless!!
👍

Sweet! I loved the climax of the song. They just rocked it out full on and I journeyed with em til the end!
your Fantastic DUDE ! ive found no one on the internet as kind and gracious as you! way to build up folks instead of tearing them down
Thanks Dale!
That's what I wanted to say! Thank you.
So young and so talented! Awesome!👍😎🎸🎶
Oh wow, i love their sound and post punk influence here! Thanks cant wait to see where they go. Really cool.
Michele C-F this is a current video of one of their new songs, from their latest album called Queen of the Murder Scene.

👍
If you like the punk influence I bet you'll like the song "P.S.Y.C.H.O.T.I.C."from their new album "Queen of the Murder Scene". Sound is not so super good because it's a fan clip from their last gig but you might get an idea. Link is to the song. You might want to watch the whole gig. ;) Have fun!
ruclips.net/video/AVLLuCBB7TM/видео.html
I really think they are more progressive rock in the vein of Rush the way they change tempo.
Robert Byrd They are not even close to being a prog band 😂 also they are not changing tempo.... they are changing intensity throughout the song. Tempo is used to measure speed of a song
Holy Cow they Rock! lOVE IT!
What talent!
Thanks for showing some international music - three sisters from Mexico. The bassist is 12?!!! They show energy and passion in their performance, yeah the drummer is very visually exciting to watch. Lovely of you to acknowledge female performers.
No problem!
I will never.... ever... get tired of watching you say, "ROCK". Fil I too really enjoy your enthusiasm. You can see your total enjoyment a mile away. I also also appreciate your words of wisdom and encouragement to musicians, young and old. You're a nice guy Fil. You "ROCK"!
Thanks Wayne!
The smile on your face, looked just like mine when i seen The Warning live in LA this past January 2019.
Make sure you don't miss these amazing sister's in your lifetime.
👍
seen these girls a year or so ago on youtube they are all grown up now and WOW.
Thank you for reacting to the Warning, I was very interested in your reaction. As one of their patrons i have been following these sisters since their Sandman cover went viral when they were 10,12, 14yrs. The EP and two albums they have released so far were all done independently. The wont sign with big company's because the company's want the band to change. I understand Nickelodeon, Simon Calwell and others have approached them. These girls are serious and work hard on their music. Also Survive and all the recordings, the music, lyrics, and studio production is theirs. The do use a pro studio mixer, I believe Dani has plans to learn how to use the Studio. Sorry about the length of this comment, there is just so much to know about these three talented sisters. Just youtube there many videos of singles and concerts. Available are the concerts they opened for Def Leppard and also the killers, their love of music always comes across.
That's great, it would be cool if independent bands were given the opportunity to support well known artists, without the headliners label just filling the support slot with a band from the same label, regardless of how well they suit the headline band. That's a problem I've found throughout my 16 years of performing. Supporting established signed bands has always been a firmly closed door. But now there's a real possibility, and these girls are showing it, that an artist's success could be in the hands of the public, and not the big record companies. Now that would be cool!
This is my first time watching you react to something. I found it great how much you openly enjoyed the music and their effort.
Talented young ladies. Hope the machine doesn't chew them up.
👍
They have turned down a few record deal already.
@@Terry_Lacy SMART,They have a lot of time decide...
We patreons won't let them
Man, they're chewing up the machine!
This was great fun. I agree with you, I’ll take raw talent over plastic performers any day of the week. I look forward to seeing more from them. Currently, I’m listening to many young musicians here, rather than commercial radio.
FIL! So cool, these young ladies are older now are tighter than ever! I just saw them live and I have to tell you,I'm 63 and have seen the best rock bands in history and these girls put on the best show I've ever seen!
I hope you watch some of their newer stuff soon!
Thank you! 🤘🤘
No problem!
These young ladies look and sound like veterans out there, great job with their own music and look, I hope they go far..... Good job Fil putting them out front!!
David71vette68 to give you a reference point as to the level of public interest in this band, I offer this. Their latest album, released in late November ‘18, spent a month in Amazon’s hot 100 for rock sales (combined sales of all media platforms, not streaming) and most of that time it was in the top 30. That seems an incredible feat, given they have zero support from “the industry”. 🤘🏻
Gracias por sharing.
Never heard of them but they rock!
Their new CD Queen of the Murder Scene is an outstanding album that rocks even harder
Welcome to being warned!
Be warned. The Warning is addicting. I have to have at least 3 doses per day.
It’s true what you said about amazing people that will support bands if they like the music. Recently The Warning had a kickstarter campaign for funds towards recording their most recent album (Queen Of The Murder Scene) where their goal I believe was 20k.
Well those amazing people (The Warning Army) managed to donate nearly 100k for this new album which was more than enough. You should’ve seen how happy Danny, Pau and Ale were when they made the video thanking all their fans who made this happen for them. 🤘🏼😎
The Kickstarter campaign was truly amazing, they met their 20K goal in the first 14 hours of the 30 day campaign. The final amount was enough to fund the complete production of their 2nd album, Artwork, CD reproduction, etc. I looks like the spent some $$ on a great background video for their live shows which ratcheted up their live performances to a whole new level. I was glad to be a small part of the Kickstarter support.
Wow that's amazing!
@@davidhollis8771 @Wings of Pegasus Such an amazing feat...participating in their Kickstarter effort has been one of the most rewarding things I've ever done in my 45 years on this earth. And the payoff on that investment keeps compounding and growing! Long Live The Warning!!
Oh wow! I am a huge fan of this band! Did not expect this, but I love it!
Cool!
Great check out Dust to Dust by the Warning live you will be amazed !!!

Wow,that young! They are really talented! I'm impressed!!
Great aren't they? They'd been going for some time by this point (they hit youtube initial viral excitement when the bassist was 9 with a metallica cover). Everything Fil says is spot on about their technical expertise, energy, and determined independence. I love the drummer's style, especially on this track.
I have watch many reactions before about this band, but man, I can hear the knowledge and the care of researching about them in your review. It was great. The band is fenomenal. Subed. 👍🏼👍🏼🤘🏻🤘🏻
Shortly before this (like a year or almost right before as they did TED twice) they did a course at Berklee College of Music where stage presence was something talked about and suggested to improve. (according to people on the internet anyway). They really work to be great musicians.
What I love about the way they are going is unlike youth groups in the past like Kittie, or Serial Joe etc from the 90s because they are taking it slower and pushing naturally doing it themselves and with care for the music it is less likely they will burn out. I hope. Which means as they age their ability will grow and I really think they are going to produce some modern Classics by their mid 20s.
They are having a great time! Impressive! 🤘
As you stated, that energy is undeniable, very impressive.
I watched this video twice ..first time..it was ok..but the next day watched again..and really enjoyed it...you can tell they will only get better and I look forward to their future...Another new band I learned about and like..awesome! I really love the drummer.
