Eliza's sister did what most of these elders failed to do. She stood up for her sister- despite having had received help from the father. This case has actual physical evidence - the child's DNA will indicate who the father is. I would be appalled, floor-boarded even, if that man is not the father of Eliza's child. Can someone help with medical bills to have Eliza checked. She has suffered way too long and you can see the toil on her - some medical relief from her stomach issues and some truly deep counselling will be needed. And the child :( I just cannot express my truest sadness with words

People saying he has a mental problem, how do you explain that he refused for her to have friends or to go anywhere? How do you explain intoxicating her to sleep with her? How do you explain him pimping his own daughter to his friends for beer? He knew that what he was doing was wrong and he knew the consequences if she was believed. The fact that he's still denying shows he's still a very dangerous man!!! The mother obviously knew, but from what I gather she was being threatened too by her husband. Lack of knowledge played a part because if mum knew she could report and still be safe, she would have protected her daughter. What a mess!? Eliza and her daughter, the little girl, this hurts 💔💔💔

The father has a very criminal face. The son looks like he is not fully mentally developed. When asked how many years he feels his sentence should be, his response says it all. The community is complacent in all this
This, the son definitely lacks capacity. I wish we could invest a lot in tackling and addressing developmental delays in kids. The way he talks and reasons definitely something is lacking and I doubt prison will reform him

The mother is another one of his victims. She has a disability and obviously fears her husband. A man who holds a knife to his own daughter to have his way with her body? I can imagine what he did to his wife. He probably was feared in the community. He obviously lived a life of thuggery. Carrying knives and openly pimping his daughter. I very much like the interviewers question when he asked the father how many years he thinks a rapist should be given. Law enforcement use this question to determine guilt. The guilty person will stammer over the question. They will give a very small sentence in their answer

Oh dear, Eliza was let down by everyone around her. The mother, the community people, worst of all the police who told her you go and bring your father here after she reported to them, they all failed her. it breaks my heart but this things are still happening, The constant abuse was too much. i pray for Elizabeth and as for those criminals old habits die hard, they are a danger to society esp children and women, they shouldn't be released.

Excellent interviewing skills. I like how the interviewer exposed him when he asked, if you were the judge what sentence would you give to a rapist? The man didn't even realise just how much he exposed himself. Firstly speaking for the criminal, hanzi kana wakapara mhosva seiyi unoda sentence shoma but magistrate decides😬 . After he was asked again he unashamedly recommends 4 to 5 years for a man who rapes a 4 year old girl! Basically that's what he thinks he deserves for his crime horrendous!!!! Disgusting!!!!

Heart-rending and shocking. So so sad. The community and sadly the police let this woman down badly. Its probably a glaring reflection of the inadequacies of our systems as a people. Firstly you would think that if a seemingly mentally challenged person came to report a crime as serious as rape let alone incest, the police would call on the expertise of psychologists and or social workers if they don't have any in their ranks already. Dismissing a serious allegation so casually is such a travesty. For the community to have known about the rape and incest and done nothing about it is tragic. I wonder whether DNA was even carried out to establish the paternity of the 4 year old victim or the capacity and resources are just not there.
