    It's not how much you make, but how you manage it. I realized that even high earners can retire broke, while modest income earners can build wealth. Living below your means, adopting a frugal lifestyle, and consistently investing are the foundations of financial freedom. After 10 years of disciplined saving and investing, I celebrated hitting $2 million last year. Now, I'm cheering on everyone striving for financial independence. Remember, financial freedom requires ongoing effort, but the peace of mind is priceless.

      Wow, congrats on reaching such an impressive feat! Should I prioritize saving or allocating a significant portion of my salary to stocks for long-term growth?

    • @ChristianJacquet-my3rl
      @ChristianJacquet-my3rl Месяц назад +4

      To prioritize, consider allocating 60-80% of your investment funds to stocks for long-term growth and 20-40% to savings for emergency funds and short-term goals.

    I bought a 2000 Toyota Corolla in 2014 for $2k and THANK GOD I did cuz I have no idea how I'd stay afloat if I had a $700 car payment on top of everything else I have to pay for. She's still running great. Only maybe one or two large repairs needed in the 10 years I've had her. She's got other little things going on that don't effect how the car runs, but Out of the 2 cars I've had in my life she's by far the best. Take care of an older, well made car and it'll be in your life for a very very long time.

    A wise individual understands that accumulating wealth necessitates prudent investments and informed guidance in the financial market, particularly during a stock market crash. While the stock market presents opportunities for maximizing profits, successfully navigating it requires skill and expertise.

    The avg. American is having a tough time, I know I am not alone. There are others in same position as me. By certain statistics: 22% of americans have no retirement savings. 64% are worried that they will not have money in latter years while 47% of adults who are not yet retired think they have to work part-time in retirement. How can I best grow the 100k I have saved seperately outside retirement access which of course had depleted over the years?

    • @joshbarney114
      @joshbarney114 Месяц назад +5

      It's recommended to save at least 20% of your income in a 401k. You can use online calculators to estimate how much you should save based on your age and income. Saving at least 20% of your income in a 401(k) can help ensure that you have enough money to retire comfortably. By saving this much, you can take advantage of compound interest and potentially grow your retirement savings over time.

      This is precisely why I like having a portfolio coach guide my day-to-day market decisions: with their extensive knowledge of going long and short at the same time, using risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying it off as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, their skillset makes it nearly impossible for them to underperform. I've been utilizing a portfolio coach for more than two years, and I've made over $800,000.

    I think I'm over all this save for retirement, max everything out so when you're super old and can't move you can finally enjoy your hard earned money. Don't buy anything nice because you have to save for retirement. Personally I believe in finding that sweet spot of saving while still enjoying the journey towards retirement. I'm also so tired of this cars are liability argument. A car that you have to keep fixing that's a liability. If I paid 40k for a car, drove it 5 years, then it's money well spent, anything left of value in a trade is BONUS in my eyes. I feel the same way with I trade in my phones, video games, whatever! Super controversial opinion, but interest isn't evil. It's the cost to borrow money. Spending extra so you don't have to wait YEARS to save for a car is worth in my eyes if you can afford. Yeah I paid 4k extra on my car but also got 2 years sooner. Money well spent. Enjoy your lives responsibility people!

    Investing in stocks could seem easy, but choosing the right stock without a tested plan might be difficult. For the longest time, I've been attempting to grow my $210,000 portfolio, but the largest obstacle is the absence of a well-defined entrance and exit strategy. On this subject, any input would be really appreciated.

      Dealing across multiple asset classes can reduce risk more effectively than putting all of your money into one. If you don't understand finances properly, see a financial consultant.

    I’d rename the f you step, you still have to work at this point. You can’t rage quick or it could affect getting hired at the next job. Fu money is where your investments pay yearly dividends that pay for all your needed expenses yearly, thus you don’t ever have to work and you can rage quit.

    2 months looking for a job ...lol good luck finding a job in this high inflation recession and many companies layoffs everyday. 100 or more people applying same job position. Slow hiring, businesses closings. Many people still looking for a job for over a year.

    You know sometimes I look at these videos with my kids because I want them to learn from you. But then you drop a "F U money" for what reason....shock value? Believe it or not, there are still some people that care about decency in our everyday language, especially when consuming educational videos.

      I’m not condoning foul language but you’re being unrealistic if you think your kids won’t hear the F bomb elsewhere. The onus is on you, the parent to teach them what’s acceptable and what is not in your household.

      @@lp9716 that's missing the point. This is like settling into watch any type of content that you don't expect to hear extreme profanity, such as the news or a sitcom. Anyways, it's her channel and she can do what she wants, but it really wasn't a good call to do so .... Even an implied swear like an "F U" would be far better.

    Hi I recently lost lots of money, investing it very unwisely. I thought about trying a safer approach and thought about your videos like 4 years ago on the magic formula.
    I remember you started doing annual rebalancing and Im just curious if you stuck with it and if so how they fared, since Im curious of trying it myself but on the Swedish stock market instead (Where Im from)
    Thank you and great video btw!
