Just got into the game had a intro game at my local LGS the other day - and must say totally love this combat mechanic with each unit having there very own card - so amazing system
Great video mate! I’m playing in my first casual tournament soon, and I want to take Obi Wan, Cody and the 212th just because I really want to use them (and they are painted 😂) but what about the other half of my force - any recommendations?
I think you did the math wrong in Lord Maul. He’s 12 damage on his ranged side if you max expertise, and 11 damage on the melee side. Both sides have the potential to add a damage if they already have the condition you select.
Am I understanding correctly that even if all of your dice hit, you cant use them all because the tree is usually too short? Eg. Form II Ventress has 7 melee dice, but she only has 4 steps on her tree so she cant use the other 3 if they all hit?
@@RichMidGaming Thanks for the clarification. That's how we thought it should go, but could not find anywhere that clearly confirmed that. So, thank you!
Some Units have multiple characters, in a single attack action, ALL characters in the unit are able to make an attack, so this is calculating both characters in a support unit attacking.
22:46 ok - I was mid doing other things when I replied to this initially so apologies. It is 9 damage. It went into the 8 slot and a message should have popped up saying it should have been 9. So yes, it is 100% a maximum of 9 damage 🤦♂️
Fantastic breakdown!! The combat will be very dynamic, so knowing damage throughput for units is really helpful.

Very insightful vid! Thank you
Probably the boxes' price tags 😂
Alternative answer: always whatever my opponent has on the table 😊
great review as always

I am a bit confused on what's being implied on the latter portion of the video. How are Units doing those high volume of damage?

In his Form IV stance, can Obi Wan not do 9 damage if he gets 6 dice through? Struggling to get to grips with some of these cards!

He said 9, then placed the face on 8 :D
Great video.
Hope the meta does not kill it off.
