I can't help but feel that Zack has his daughter in mind when directing the Barry and Iris scene. The amount of gentleness and care Barry showed Iris in that scene could be a reflection of how a father may treat his little princess. RIP

No it's supposed to show how strong Barry is,because in the comics the flash when he goes fast has basically super strength so he was trying to not crush iris body,hence why a couple of seconds earlier he easily destroyed the window with barely a touch of his finger
As a parent that scene made me cry especially when Barry so gently moves her hair, then folds her arms, softly holding her like laying my son to sleep. Felt like Snyder did that scene or at least placed that song to honor his daughter RIP.

My father died of cancer sadly his treatment couldn't keep him alive. He wanted to see this movie and so did i all i got to say is when this song came on i new he was there with me like all superheroes there there when you need them thank you so much for such a great song and may you all have a great life remember how precious life is as how i would give years so my dad can see this epic movie
I can't imagine how it feels for him to be so vindicated. If you told me five years ago that Snyder would become a folk hero among DCEU fans, I probably wouldn't believe you. I'm still impressed how he went from zero to hero.
Cutting this scene is a crime, and I'm glad the world finally got to see it. It actually made me a fan of Ezra Miller and this version of The Flash, and I truly hope Ezra gets the help so sorely needed. This scene and the haunting music accompanying it, is my favorite in the film.

Critics are complaining there were many classic Snyder Slow-mo scenes in the movie. And here I am who thinks were not just enough slo mo scenes in the movie. Flash rescuing Iris and Cyborg's football games are some of the most brilliant slow mo shots in the movie.
It’s EXTREMELY OBVIOUS that the Slow-Motion scenes in Zack Snyder Comic-Book Movies are to make the movie 🎥 more like the Comic-Books they’re adapted of like “Watchmen”, “300”, “Wonder Woman” and of course “Justice League” and it is again obvious cause the scenes are slowed down cause they look like they should be put in the panels, pages 📄 and splashes of a Comic-Book and I know that what Zack does is totes 👜 4 shizzle GENIUS.

Lots of moments in Zack Snyder’s Justice League that made me really happy but ironically what made me the most happy wasn’t the appearance of Joker, MM or Darkside. It was the appearance of one of my favourite songs of all time “Song to the Siren” playing when Barry saves Iris.

I love this song too. If you haven't heard it l'd recommend you check out Elizabeth Fraser's version which this one is based on. She was the singer with the Cocteau Twins and recorded this with a side project band called This Mortal Coil. Strangely, the song was written and recorded by Tim Buckley (in quite a different style) who's son Jeff Elizabeth dated many years later.

However a live version by Elizabeth and Robin I think is even better. I'll find the link. I found out an interesting fact about the song last night. The words are not Tim's. The lyrics were written by Larry Bennet and Tim set them to music. They collaborated on a few of Tim's songs and he went on to have a long career as a poet. There's a spoken version of the song with a bit of history woven in. Again I'll try and find the link.

Kinda odd. The snyder cut wouldn't exist today if not for AT&T and HBO max. However the sale of Time Warner to AT&T is what got the DCEU in a bind originally.

From the moment I hear her voice, it brings tears to my eyes. The voice, the scene, everything enraptures the love that is felt in these words.
Lots of moments in Zack Snyder’s Justice League that made me really happy but ironically what made me the most happy wasn’t the appearance of Joker, MM or Darkside. It was the appearance of one of my favourite songs of all time “Song to the Siren” playing when Barry saves Iris.

Seeing Barry save Iris was remarkable. The attention to detail was amazing. He was barely touching her because at his speed, she could easily break.

I legit HATED this Flash previously....Just the composition of this introduction scene, the flair in the shot composition and the visuals combined with this brilliant piece of music I loved before, turned me around on the character as a whole, it goes to show just how superior this cut of the movie is....

This song makes me emotional. This movie is the result, the healing we've all finally got after four years of pain for Zack. The movie itself is amazing, but knowing the purpose, the fight, the struggle that led to this movie finally getting released, makes it so much more important and beautiful

This is one of the most soothing songs I have ever heard. Everything is so calming. This is an absolute amazing piece. I literally just paused the movie to find this song specifically so that I can enjoy the beauty of it. Your voice is so captivating and awe inspiring. I love this song too. If you haven't heard it l'd recommend you check out Elizabeth Fraser's version which this one is based on. She was the singer with the Cocteau Twins and recorded this with a side project band called This Mortal Coil. Strangely, the song was written and recorded by Tim Buckley (in quite a different style) who's son Jeff Elizabeth dated many years later.

However a live version by Elizabeth and Robin I think is even better. I'll find the link. I found out an interesting fact about the song last night. The words are not Tim's. The lyrics were written by Larry Bennet and Tim set them to music. They collaborated on a few of Tim's songs and he went on to have a long career as a poet. There's a spoken version of the song with a bit of history woven in. Again I'll try and find the link.
