This scene was so bad lol and no I'm not hating on the movie, but this was the one of the two bad scenes in the whole thing, this and the one with Joker. It made Barry seem so creepy. The music is nice though
My father died of cancer sadly his treatment couldn't keep him alive. He wanted to see this movie and so did i all i got to say is when this song came on i new he was there with me like all superheroes there there when you need them thank you so much for such a great song and may you all have a great life remember how precious life is as how i would give years so my dad can see this epic movie
Absolutely beautiful! The scene where Barry saves Iris is another great example of why superhero movies are not just cinematic blockbusters, they can be something more. This song was a huge contributor to that!

I can't help but feel that Zack has his daughter in mind when directing the Barry and Iris scene. The amount of gentleness and care Barry showed Iris in that scene could be a reflection of how a father may treat his little princess. RIP
I don't think it was that cause that scene was one of those scenes that were filmed originally but got cut, meaning it was filmed before Autumn took her life, but maybe when the edited it Zack thought about her
No it's supposed to show how strong Barry is,because in the comics the flash when he goes fast has basically super strength so he was trying to not crush iris body,hence why a couple of seconds earlier he easily destroyed the window with barely a touch of his finger
there is no need to cut it as for the reason you mentioned and also this was the first time we were seeing flash in this movie so they were just displaying his powers
WB got jealous over MCU success and wanted DC to be family friendly then tries to toss ZS because his work are technically aren't meant to be family friendly. They tries to make a heroes unite story rushed and fails badly with Joss JL.
Being an MCU fan this scene and in particular this very song struck a cord in me and for me this is the epitome of the DCEU. They need to restore the Snyder-verse. Simply an emotional and inspirational song.

I don’t know how to properly explain and describe to people the beauty of the Barry Allen crash scene in this movie... The emotion, the music choice...my feelings were attacked and I wasn’t ready. This was truly a work of art. This was beautiful.
Lots of moments in Zack Snyder’s Justice League that made me really happy but ironically what made me the most happy wasn’t the appearance of Joker, MM or Darkside. It was the appearance of one of my favourite songs of all time “Song to the Siren” playing when Barry saves Iris.

Cutting this scene is a crime, and I'm glad the world finally got to see it. It actually made me a fan of Ezra Miller and this version of The Flash, and I truly hope Ezra gets the help so sorely needed. This scene and the haunting music accompanying it, is my favorite in the film.

I love this song too. If you haven't heard it l'd recommend you check out Elizabeth Fraser's version which this one is based on. She was the singer with the Cocteau Twins and recorded this with a side project band called This Mortal Coil. Strangely, the song was written and recorded by Tim Buckley (in quite a different style) who's son Jeff Elizabeth dated many years later.

However a live version by Elizabeth and Robin I think is even better. I'll find the link. I found out an interesting fact about the song last night. The words are not Tim's. The lyrics were written by Larry Bennet and Tim set them to music. They collaborated on a few of Tim's songs and he went on to have a long career as a poet. There's a spoken version of the song with a bit of history woven in. Again I'll try and find the link.

Cutting this scene is a crime, and I'm glad the world finally got to see it. It actually made me a fan of Ezra Miller and this version of The Flash, and I truly hope Ezra gets the help so sorely needed. This scene and the haunting music accompanying it, is my favorite in the film.
Seeing Barry save Iris was remarkable. The attention to detail was amazing. He was barely touching her because at his speed, she could easily break.

This is one of the most soothing songs I have ever heard. Everything is so calming. This is an absolute amazing piece. I literally just paused the movie to find this song specifically so that I can enjoy the beauty of it. Your voice is so captivating and awe inspiring. I love this song too. If you haven't heard it l'd recommend you check out Elizabeth Fraser's version which this one is based on. She was the singer with the Cocteau Twins and recorded this with a side project band called This Mortal Coil. Strangely, the song was written and recorded by Tim Buckley (in quite a different style) who's son Jeff Elizabeth dated many years later.

@@Sean-if7rp That recording is definitely fabulous. I think a lot of people's preference depends on which one you heard first. For me it was This Mortal Coil. However a live version by Elizabeth and Robin I think is even better. I'll find the link. I found out an interesting fact about the song last night. The words are not Tim's. The lyrics were written by Larry Bennet and Tim set them to music. They collaborated on a few of Tim's songs and he went on to have a long career as a poet. There's a spoken version of the song with a bit of history woven in. Again I'll try and find the link.
