Funny enough I have a character who is basically this. I described it as "his body operates like there's an F1 racecar driver at the wheel but riding shotgun is an eight year old child that will. Not. Stop. Pressing random buttons". Creating him is fun.
For me it’s the complete opposite, instead of easily completing levels, I somehow manage to die in some weird obscure way that’s harder to pull off than the solution itself.
Puts on nerd glasses Well if you think about it he’s not grabbing the spikes because hit boxes are boxes do they can’t disjoint it too much so their are just grabbing the wall😂
Puts on nerd glasses the spikes only hurts you if you go on the opposite direction as them in celeste, so if you just keep going up without stopping or falling down, you wont be hurt by spikes pointing up and if you just keep going left without stopping or going right, you wont be hurt by spikes pointing left

this is modded, not sure what map but it is always fun to save an attempt gone wrong, like with cornerjumps (Parrot Dash moment), or whatever this is. too bad I do not have the skill to do this kind of thing yet btw modded celeste is not always balls difficult, try the beginner / intermediate lobbies of strawberry jam

you should ask the goldeners and deathless challengers, like parrot dash and rickfernello (both are well known examples) if you ask normal players to operate, expect many retries during various segments of the surgery
@@infernal8985 at least they have a higher chance of doing it in one go, and have fewer retries (segmented practice and low death runs are always done for high difficulty goldens) definitely better than normal players slicing the tissue into a fine paste as anaesthesia watches in horror
Been playing Maddy's games since the days of Jumper. I can tell you from her usualy game design - these things, if not completely intended, are definitely welcomed by Maddy. "Wall-climbing" bullshit has been possible since Jumper 2 so if she really cared about it she could have gotten rid of it back then, but if anything, she's made that kind of tech even more feasible.
it makes the game a lot more interesting imo and theres not really a reason to fix it since its still harder than doing the levels normally. it allows for people to make their own very difficult gameplay with unique mechanics without causing issues for more casual players
