PE9M's Collins 51S-1 receiver

Another small movie of my old good Collins 51S-1 tube-receiver. Now in HD-quality! Still one of my best receivers in the shack. Comparing the quality with the IC-7700 , on AM-broacast, the 51S-1 is still winning.

Probably the best tube-based radio ever made! That SSB demo had excellent clarity. That runs circles around the way today’s DSP-based SWL radios decode SSB. Thanks for sharing!

why so few visualization?! it's a really realy nice radio, I love Collins and I wish I'll have one in the future...
