    Hey Jeff I have a question regarding leveling the lawn. My lawn is very bumpy and I don't know where to start. Please also include what tools to get started and where to rent. Iam on a budget so don't want to spend a lot of money.

      In this video, that I am linking below, I go over the entire process that I use to flatten out a lawn. There are not a lot of tools required: a shovel, a landscapers rake, a lawn levelling rake and a spreader. You can buy the soil in bags so a wheel barrow is not essential. Everything can be rented at Homedepot, Lowes or any hardware store that rents tools. Truthfully they are not that expensive to buy. amzn.to/3wXKiPE

    I think I’ll go the easier route and use chemicals.

    At the vacuum, I thought wut? Then, at the saw I thought, you've gotta be kidding. I have an acre. Yeah.

      Yeah, I have a few thousand square feet and had several small patches of poa. An acre definitely requires a different approach. A few applications of mesotrione during the growing season followed by a fall preemergent and one before the growing starts in the spring. Repeat annually as required.

    title says other weed grasses....so what about Johnson Grass?

    • @JeffSeetonLawnCare
      @JeffSeetonLawnCare  4 месяца назад +2

      Johnson grass is a tough one for sure. Of course you can dig it up but you need to make sure that you get it rhizomes. Roundup can kill it but some Johnson grasses have development a tolerance. Whatever you use to kill it you will need a preemergent going forward.
