WrestleMania is supposed to leave us gushing about how special something we saw was. This absolutely delivered that with the Boneyard Match.
because they know someone left and will be doing stuff like this all the time ;) sad to see but Vince is right, people have short attention spans and are easily manipulated into becoming specific type of consumer.
And all we want is pro wrestling, which we have, but monopoly holding nostalgia will always try to get us back. F*ck that company, good people working with that company, but f*ck the company that killed pro wrestling by destroying every territory

I thought it was the most garbage over-produced b-movie fight scene. Cheesy music queues, angle cuts so American Badass doesn't look like a broken 70yo, terrible cheesy dialogue, and druids that literally did nothing to add to the fight.
I hope for wrestling, not a lame fight scene. I know it is taped, but so was everything else. This just didn't come across as wrestling but a lame fight scene for me.
After I watched it I thought to myself "I don't give a crap what anyone else says, I LOVE THAT MATCH."

The point of Seth getting disqualified was he was taking away Owen's chance of getting a Wrestlemania moment.
The Undertaker match was one of the best matches I've seen in a while, it was so well put together. It totally suited Undertaker, he is getting older and having a match made like a movie made mark look 20 years younger. Enough respect also to the awesome AJ who played just a big part in this match.

For me it was Taker's best Mania match since the 2012 End of an Era.
I hope they do something different . before the boneyard match ,Nobody ever thought how good this will work . I hope they try something else with Cena and Bray And if it doesn't work , we will quickly get over it .
Pretty solid show imo.Everything was decent to good.Nothing was bad.Even Corbin vs Elias impressed me.Mad props to these superstars for performing in these tough situations

The Goldberg match reminded me of those old Smackdown games where you can start with five finishers and can just use them at the start.

The Boneyard match was match of the night for me. And I popped loud when American Badass Taker appeared. Possibly my favorite incarnation of him.

I don’t care what anyone says, I have to give props to WWE for Wrestlemania. Tho there isn’t a live crowd of 80,000 screaming fans, the wrestlers still gave it their all, the Boneyard match exceeded expectations and the Rollins and Owens match was a classic and I’m looking forward to tonight’s 2nd part. Is it just me or does the fact that there was no crowd in the arena during the Baron Corbin throwing elias off the ledge make it seem a lot more like attempted murder caught on a security tape rather than a staged move?
AJ wanted the “Boneyard” match bc he wanted to bring out the old Undertaker (which actually brought out American Badass Taker but you get my point lol)

Okay Boneyard match: I've said this before on the twitter, but all of Taker's matches should be done like this from now on. This worked on so many levels but mainly because of the caliber of performer Undertaker is and how great of a villain AJ Styles is. I honestly appreciated every role that was played from Gallows and Anderson to the dang druids. I LOVED IT. I felt like a kid again and it further cemented my sentiments about how the Undertaker is STILL my favorite (with Asuka Chan being my 2nd fave). I mean, I even felt like the BadA$$ gimmick totally worked for Taker here given that they'd already broken the 4th wall and it gave him license to move about at a different pace with verbiage that had me marking out like a chatty school girl. I just..... (sigh) So great. So great. Again, hats off to EVERYONE involved even those behind the scenes.
📣The production value was crazy, l can definitely agree. Seeing that gets me geeked, makes me intrigued to see what Bray and Cena have crafted up!
What? It was terrible. At least they tried but no way was it anything to do with wrestling. It was like a mockery, it shouldn't look like a B movie. It should be a wrestling match. Buried AJ metaphorically and literally.
jessyr706 I bet Stone Cold, The Rock, and even good action movie stars will join wwe occasionally for storylines if they can continue doing this once and a while for special characters and storylines.. This will help The Fiends character a lot too.

Overall, this was a rather good Wrestlemania half. The matches were well done, Braun Stroman finally won the Universal Championship, and the Boneyard match was nicely done.

Shayna Got screwed! The surprise rollup is what you call that particular move. I call it the Samoa Joe special. SMH it gets a down. A golden down! Baron Corbin(Borin Corbin) Versus Elias match was not interesting at all. I could’ve cared less. The bill Goldberg versus Braun Stroman match gets an up! Nobody wanted to see Goldberg versus Roman Reigns in the first place. Bill Goldberg should have never beaten The Fiend and people are tired of being force-fed Roman Reigns. Braun won a well-deserved championship that he should have won a while ago and I am happy with the ending. I absolutely enjoyed the other matches.

Undertaker vs AJ Styles was epic. It’ll be remembered as one of the greatest match in WrestleMania history.
I wanted Styles to win. But, I wasn’t sad when he lost bc the match was so awesome and I already knew he’s gonna lose. AJ Styles is Mr.TNA. Ofc, WWE will never let him get victory over guys like Taker, Lesnar, HHH,etc.
The Bone yard match got me excited for The Firefly Funhouse Match. It could be awesome.

That wasn't a roll up. Simon needs a new pair of eyes. It was a version of the move Bret Hart used to pin Stone Cold in their Summerslam match. I get a bit tired of him calling every surprise pin a roll up.
As for the actual intent of this comment. Would you rather have had her tap Baszler out? Because then that makes the rest of the womens roster look even weaker than they did after Elimination Chamber. This was the best finish for the Raw Women's Division overall. It might make Becky look a little weak, but it makes it so the rest don't look as bad because she barely eaked out a win against someone that destroyed them.

I must say with being quarantined I was happy to see Wrestlemania. My expectations were low but I appreciated every moment and stopped being critical even if only one night. I enjoyed part 1 of Mania.
I'm trying to explain to people that the Boneyard Match is what I see in my head when I watch an ordinary match. This is what the stories feel like for me. It was just so good. I've watched three times and I find something great every time. The first time I was just in awe. The second time I focused on Taker's trash talking, that was just awesome, and the third time... well, AJ STYLES HIT TAKER WITH A MAUSOLEUM. I CANT EVEN. IT WAS AWESOME AND I'M GONNA WATCH IT A THOUSAND TIMES.
This wrestlemania is already better than previous wrestle mania
Both of Becky Lynch's wins at this year and last year's wrestlemania have looked like botches.

The Goldberg-Braun Strowman match was worse than the Goldberg-Undertaker match in Saudi Arabia.

I got into wrestling right when biker taker showed up so it was awesome seeing him back and was a legitimately special wrestlemania moment for me
That boneyard match was special! I can’t believe how great Taker looked. The whole night was awesome, other than Goldberg. Bring on night 2!

The Boneyard & Firefly Funhouse matches just prove Matt Hardy was well ahead of his time.
One thing from Wrestlemania that gets an up from me was finishers finally being somewhat protected at a PPV and not being overly reliant on near falls and kicking out of finishers to pop a crowd. Don't think anyone kicked out of anyones finisher last night which made a nice change from current wrestling.

He for sure got his WM moment from leaping off the sign. Shayna losing STILL HURTS! The Boneyard Match was so amazing. Thanks to Matt for the cinematic matches. We need more of these!
There is so much anticipation for the Firefly Funhouse match now after the Boneyard. That set the stage and brought it to another level. I just hope we can see more of this in the future.
