Great video,, the links for the items under the description would be great. If I wanted a single shot of expresso, would I use only 8 grams of coffee with the smaller porta filter?
Hey, Steve! I talked to my husband and his answer is yes... theoretically, but he would never do it. The reason is because you get a much better extraction when you use the larger brew basket. The smaller brew basket has a much smaller area of perforation, which means water is channeled to the center, whereas in the larger 2 -shot brew basked, the perforation goes to the edge, and the water can pour through all of the coffee.
