sir i have a doubt, what will happen if more than 1 expected value is less than 5, (r-1)(c-1)-n? will we do this to find the degree of freedom, please do reply sir.
Thank you for this video this really helped😊 but I just have one clarification , why aren't rounding off the numbers for example at 15: 01 , 1600/60 = 26.666 why aren't we rounding off to 26.7 ?
sir can you please explain why you took null hypothesis as : techniques are not significantly different. Why not "The techniques are different(independence of attribute)". I saw the video several times but couldnot understand. Thank you sir
Whenever we have to set null hypothesis it is always equal to type. It is asked in questions see at 18.49 Hope this will help you Download our app Gourav Manjrekar Academy from playstore. It's free
Nice one but brother if we get expected values below 5 three time i.e Fe having numbers 23,23,3,4,2,20 like than degree of freedom will be (2-1)*(4-1) - 3 like that .
It will be accepted. Its just a rule that in chi square test the expected frequencies must be at least 5. It have no relation with the degree of freedom.
Dear Sir, Time 26:00 4 divided by 31 =0.129 But your value is different. So, this also affects our ans. Please sir. Make us sure that which one is correct?? 🤔
I have a doubt, how can we decide that Ho will not be "Two methods are significantly different" why we took Ho as "They are not significantly different" Can someone please help me... i am really confused.
When any expected frequency is less than 5 then to make it more than 5 we pooled expected frequency. That why we lost 1 degree of freedom more. So we have original df as ( r-1) (c-1) = 3 . Now we pooled expected frequency then we have 3-1 = 2 df 👆👆
in the second ques why did we take the null hypothesis as they do not differ why didn't we took they significantly differ please someone clarify my doubt

@@GouravManjrekar Sir in that case, in 1st math why didnt we take null hypothesis as "there is association"

Dear Sir,
Time 26:00
4 divided by 31 =0.129
But your value is different.
So, this also affects our ans.
Please sir.
Make us sure that which one is correct?? 🤔
By mistake we write 4/31 as .012 but correct value is .129
Final answer has no effect by this value.
Also 4 divided by 84 =0.0476 24:45
if the summation of original frequency and expected frequency are not the same then in that case how to solve it?
What If the expected frequency is exactly equal to 5 ?
It will be accepted. Its just a rule that in chi square test the expected frequencies must be at least 5.

Sir what to do if frequency is less than 50 in total
Second question me d.f( r-1)(c-1)= 3 hoga sir aapne 2 kyu liya
When we pooled expected frequency then we love one more degree of freedom
Hope this will help you
@@GouravManjrekar sir I understood what you did in that problem but can u explain one more time why you subtracted 1 one from 3
When any expected frequency is less than 5 then to make it more than 5 we pooled expected frequency.
That why we lost 1 degree of freedom more.
So we have original df as ( r-1) (c-1) = 3 .
