I am not a fan of the design of i5/5 series. Interieur quality is a bit disappointing. Cheap hard plastic at the doors and some other area. The predecessor had better quality. Ive sat in new 520i a week ago and was disappointed much. New bmw design is just not that good imo. 7 series, XM and now 5 series. New Mercedes E class is imo nr. 1 in this class. A german car magazine tested 520d vs. E220d. 5series lost nearly every part of test.😢

Can you charge full battery and while driving put seat heating for all passenger, get aircon at 24 degrees, put music on (u can cut the sound from the video) and keep all light on plus ambient inside:) Let's see what range bmw has before u put all of those and then when u turn all of them

yeah i push it, or leave it in a downhill and it runs, it opens the doors with a key, it opens the windows with a lever, it runs on minus 40 degree Celsius weather, if it runs out of gasoline i just put more from any recipient, or from another car and in just a few minutes its running again, its a 1990 toyota corolla, all manual no electric bullshit on it, and the rare times i go to fix something i spend from 20 to 50$, if one day i have to pay more then 250$ it will be more expensive then the car itself.😆@@beanapprentice1687
I'm assuming that you've never heard the sounds of an electric motor. I feel that this car is plenty fast. Besides, not all fast cars use premium gasoline. I understand that there isn't many charge depots for EVs, but trust me. This is the future. And in the future, even law enforcement will use EVs.
Just test drove this yesterday, trust me, it's got plenty of soul! The sheer power is incredible, even too much for a daily driver. Lack of noise and vibrations from ICE is actually really nice and adds to a comfort.
So it has less things for you to get accustomed to or that provide feedback, which equals it still having a soul??? We've had an i4 edrive40 for a year at work and it's an appliance. Again perfectly quick enough and an okay car to drive but completely void of any soul. There's no way for you to interact with the car, you can't pull a paddle and get a downshift which sounds different depending on the rpm etc. No feedback on how fast you're going.
I agree. I have an old V8 and I have an i4 on order. I won't miss the rattling and motor noise. Noise sucks. The only reason I'm not replacing my V4 motorbike is the low range of E bikes.

Well even the 2.0 diesels do 240 without remap I had 420 many years ago now with remap it did 253 on straight and a little more downhill so be prepared for one to come sailing past you, 600bhp just useless stopping at that speed😅what a world we live in. a handsome and fast but too big and expensive for a daily drive market car. a friend of mine bought it for 250k euro in turkey and he said that after 200 km inside city battery level is 10. so silly shopping i will never buy a big and expensive electric car. zoe or i3 is enough no need for this long live petrol heads
