- A film about the homecoming of 1 Scots after their recent tour in Afghanistan. They marched through the town of Dumfries today. Large numbers of people came out to see them and show their respect and gratitude. It was deeply moving for me as my Son-inlaw is the drum Major and led the parade. It was a relief that he returned home safely along with his colleagues to be reunited with their wives and families but my thoughts were with the ones who were injured or worse during their time away in a foreign land.

Yes it was good to see 1 scots marching through our town after their tour of Afganistan. Most have came home safely and been reunited with their families and friends. But one has to spare a thought for the soldiers that were wounded or worse while serving our country in a far off land. drsvideoclips
