    As a Veteran the battlefield scene got me emotional because as long as the flag flies there is hope. This band is also VERY pro military, veteran and first responders. You should really check out the video for Wrong Side of Heaven and Gone Away. If you do, get the tissues ready.
    Love you guys.

      That sounds awesome. We’re very big on supporting the military and veterans. I thought it was funny when that charge seen came on, because so many of the people in the crowd look just like a ton of my friends. It was eerie. Thank you for your service, and take good care 🤝 - G

      Wrong Side of Heaven is one of the most impactful and emotionally charged songs ever. I've never seen anything else quite like it. The messages 5fdp promotes through their music and videos, whether you agree or not, are exceptionally compelling. That being said, to all the vets out their, thank you for your sacrifices.

    Not something I would normally listen to, but really liked that. That's what I like about some reaction channels, they take me out of my comfort zone. I have found so much good stuff lately that I would never have listened to otherwise.

    55DP is a powerful band. I do miss the days when after the elections were done, everyone took down their bumper stickers and signs and went back to just being Americans. I pray that the US will get back to that someday.

    Completely off at a tangent, but the phrase "Living the Dream" always reminds me of a factory I used to work in. They sacked a bunch of people (and screwed over a bunch more in various ways) one week, then the next week spent obscene amounts of money putting big, glossy signs with their "Living The Values" slogan all over the place. From then on, "Living The Values" was only EVER used in a sarcastic way in conversation. For instance, you'd ask somebody who was clearly having a bad day how they were doing, and they'd reply "oh, I'm living the f****** values, mate..." It became completely impossible use the phrase unironically: not good for a 'motivational' slogan.

    Please read what Zoltan Bathory, founder of FFDP, has to say about this video. He is an immigrant from Hungary and has lived under socialism/ communism. In the flag scene, the guys in black at the front are the band, including Zoltan.

    The Finn in me doesn't really understand why so many people almost hate FFDP. I find most of their songs enjoyable both musically & lyrically. However, I don't condone this one promoting the idea of wearing masks during this pandemic as a threat to an individual's freedom.

    • @danielrupp7578
      @danielrupp7578 3 года назад +5

      With as deadly as this virus isn't I'm a firm believer in having the choice to mask up. Make an informed decision rather than one forced upon you. In the Army my field was nuclear, biological, and chemical warfare. From the onset I thought, and still do, the big is over rated. That said while 99% of masks are irrelevant anyways I wore one when around customers who were at high risk. Peace of mind for them, not for me.
      The freedom to make that informed choice falls under the 1st Amendment for me. And as politics go over here when one Amendment is under attack so are others. The stranglehold by the media and big tech has showcased the 1st Amendment being pushed to the edge, the 2nd has been under attack for decades but even more forcibly these last two years, and the 4th will follow suit. 1st, 2and, and 4th protect from being loaded into cattle cars. I'll keep and/or fight to protect those, thank you.

    • @tarmotyyri6733
      @tarmotyyri6733 3 года назад

      @@danielrupp7578 If trusting people tp make their own informed choices is such a great idea, why have laws & regulations in the first place? Maybe it also explains why the U.S. has about 27K infections per 1M citizens, but Finland (where I live) has only 2,7K.

    • @danielrupp7578
      @danielrupp7578 3 года назад

      @@tarmotyyri6733 so many factors that go into that. Let me throw just a few at you. Population density, a lack of fear of this virus, and the most apt one... the election here days away. Then there is the huge amounts of testing, the testing giving everyone false positives the list goes on and on.
      Not even going to touch on your other arguement. You are set in your opinion as am I.

    • @tarmotyyri6733
      @tarmotyyri6733 3 года назад

      @@danielrupp7578 Agreed, but also people refusing to wear masks to protect themselves & more importantly others just because it goes against their notion of freedom & and it's their right. I guess the same people refuse to wear seat belts, follow speed limits & other traffic safety laws and regulations.

    • @kusarigama7899
      @kusarigama7899 3 года назад +1

      @@tarmotyyri6733 That is kinda gaslighting (Using denial, misdirection, contradiction, and misinformation, gaslighting involves attempts to destabilize the victim and delegitimize the victim's beliefs) and let me explain why. People do follow speed limits and other safety laws and regs for the most part aside from cell phones (they are too self absorbed with their own status on this one most people never put them down) and the one I will talk about seat belts. There is solid data seat belts save lives BUT to the avid supporters of it there is a lot of evidence that seat belts can cause death, severe organ injury and death in themselves. This is why people are against seat belts. They hope for a fast death rather than a possibility of being paralyzed or having chronic pain from organ injury for the rest of their lives. You may not agree with this but it is a valid argument.
      Now we get to why people are pissed at masks and I am sure me and you can agree on some things and explain some of the things the video touched on. A little background I am anti-mask and I stated this in 5FDP video comments. I was perfectly fine with it when the virus came out since we did not know anything about it. As time went on I knew something was off. All the maskers were screaming at the top of their lungs to listen to Dr. Fauci and the WHO/CDC. Shortly after we get things like Fauci being on a plane and going to a baseball game without a mask and Pelosi going to the hair salon without one. We also have some studies obviously not conclusive from both the WHO/CDC that masks are ineffective and some studies that say they are. We finally have the 6% of the deaths can be Covid related not with co morbidity being released and those very same maskers flip and say do not listen to Fauci, CDC and the WHO. They flip when it does not fit their narrative. So as part of the video dictates we have hipocracy all over the place from the people and politicians. Sometimes you have to think for yourself.
      I also stated in my other comment I know 5 people who survived Covid 2 of which are Trump and Brendan Herrera. I hear Pence got it now. If he survives can we stop freaking out about it and maybe, just maybe admit we may have blown this way out of proportion. None of those 5 had any damage done to them and I already assume it to be 6 people surviving.
