LOL That cream!! LOL Curb the urge...wonderful!! Your enthusiasm is infectious! I so appreciate that! Corning Ware coffee perk, how great is that...a memory from my childhood. Enjoy the week ahead!
Thank you so much. Bruce big holiday tomorrow for us. I hope that you and otis have a great evening and we'll see you around. Thank you for your kindness and support
OMG cream is hilarious, although I don't think it is enough for you. You should look for the Costco size container. We haven't seen that stove since the hike up to seven mile falls last year. You can also get those door kickplates at Home Depot if you can't find one from a used source. Well done with the patch on the vest, Mellissa...Perfect! Dude, in the video you can see the fuel fumes flowing out of the bottom of the stove before you lit it.
,,,Steve the addiction is real,, & your having fun with it,, heck yeah,, love the knife hack,, the saw & case man i got to have one,, we got a little snow but its back up in the 50s,,
I’ve been tempted to get one of those Corning coffee percolators… a couple times. Never got one though… I’m sticking the Pyrex ones. No room for extra gear because I can’t get the “collector’s ointment” around here. 🤣
I will need to bring you a small tube of ointment at turkey foot next year, okay. I must say, the percolator is a very good one. It's just not as cool.
That percolator is a GEM 💎💎💎 almost thought it was a massive moka pot, yes i remember you using the heck outa that little trail blazer of a stove i bet it was happy to be having ☕☕☕☕
Yes , took it all apart this morning and got it working like a charm. There was actually something up with the jet on that stove and it wasn't running right.
I like the hack , I have the same trouble with my dragonfly ,When using smaller pots . I will try that . I love the silky saws too , they are excellent tools .
Thanks Scott , I thought is was a decent option , i would much rather have a custom. Mother pouch that the feral rod can fit in. However, this will do. I also like the idea of having a nice chunk of chord available if I needed. Thank. You for the support Scott. I hope you're having a great saturday
Thanks Steve , I think when you are cutting a log with the saw you can change the angle to straight when your nearly through so you don’t cut into the ground and spoil how razor sharp it is .
That's a big tube of cream LOL, great hack for the ferro rod on the knife case , yeah 8:04 that was a POOOFFF !!! LOL. That little silent burner seemed initially to make for more quiet flame and seemed hotter, but I guess not the case , That was a neat Silky pocket saw, looks small compact but able to do some cutting . Cabela's Run now I'm jealous lol. Hope you have a great weekend my friend
Haaahaaa yes, Garry. I'm glad I have no facial hair. It would have been game over !!!!! I absolutely lathered up in the super cream before I went to cabela's today. It was very helpful to curb the urge of impulse buying . !! HAAAAHAAA I HOPE YOU'RE HAVING A GREAT SATURDAY
Nice stove. The knife hack is actually a pretty neat idea, but man you're a monster for using the blade to scrape the rod haha. Those Corning percs sure make a good cup of coffee. Hope Cabela's wasn't too expensive a trip for you hahah
Haaa haa , there is a special rod spot designed on the blade 👌 for striking, cabela's is just a fun place to go watch , it's like walking thru a catalogs, I don't buy much of anything there ever . Thanks Chad !
@@doinsngoins haha that makes it all better with the knife 😂 I remember back in the day when my parents would take us kids to Branson, Missouri, and we would always spend a day going up to Springfield to the big Bass Pro. They would always put on shows feeding the fish, have big parking lot displays from vendors, and all sorts of fun stuff, plus all kinds of food. It was a whole experience that would make for a fun day coupled with Battlefield Mall. Much better, simpler times.
I like the silent burner cap. I was thinking about this the other day Steve when you first used it. I have the Trangia stove with the paraffin burner. I am going to see if SMS Industries will like to make me a silent burner cap for my Trangia stove.
Steve, wow what a way to kick off a video. Love the Coleman cream. There are a couple things in common with all of us, fire, water, and coffee. As always great stuff. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. Eddie I really appreciate you buddy. Yes friends and fire would be a great youtube channel name wouldn't it !
The model is the new model of the optimus nova, the? Original made in Switzerland version. In my opinion is better, but this one is still a good stove . Thank you so far much for watching and the comment.
Nice stove. Thank you for sharing your coffee with us, Steve. Stay safe and stay warm
