Yo great video man. I seen people use jump starters to get power, but I dont want to have to buy one just for this job. Nice to know I can just use my car battery, as long as im careful not to short it. Respect from NZ ❤
Can u do one on how to know if ur master switch is not working or if it's the window lift motor on the same accord 2003-07 my front windows don't work but the backs do
Hey. Thanks for the suggestion. Only thing is I sold the car a year ago. Regarding your issue, I think it might be the window switch, since it's affecting the 2 front. This doesn't always hold true though. Some troubleshooting is required, including checking for continuity at the master switch.
@@brooklyn7941 Could be a lot. Poor contact in the switch or motor. Bang the door really hard. If it starts working, likely the motor. Can also tap it with a screwdriver assuming you bring down the door panel.
@@DIYAutoworksNG ohhh yeah I did that one before Months back that didn't help at all it was only moving from the window switch itself . But do u think I should get it from a junkyard ? Kuz the thing was last time I did that I got locked out my car because somebody hit my door long time ago so I changed the door from a 07 and put it on there
Can you explain further? As I don't see any danger with this. I could have used have used clamps though to reduce any risk of shorts. Is this what you are referring to?
@@DIYAutoworksNG As you dont use a fuse you may risk short out the battery. And if you are unlucky the wire could weld it self to the connection pin witch then will cause fire in the wire. You also could have electrical issues in modern cars if you short it out. The best (and actually quite simple) solution is to create a fused test wire.
@@thomasasannes Not so. All that will happen is that the wire will burn out. To "short out" a battery you'd need a steel bar, and even that would glow orange. A little wire like he's using will behave just like a fuse and melt if it did in fact create a direct circuit. Putting an iron bar on a battery is fun, but you need to run some distance away!

Great!
You should not do this direct to the battery sir... thats quite dangerous.

Thanks for the feedback.
This was a video from many years ago. If you may, do check my newer videos. I'd like to think I've improved 😅
