The Granbury Cabins at Windy Ridge is a boutique retreat that features a collection of farmhouse style cabin buildings. The cabin buildings are located in Granbury, Texas, United States, and can accommodate up to 5 guests with 2 bedrooms, 3 beds, and 2 bathrooms. During your vacation stay, you'll have the entire cabin building to yourself. Access to the farmhouse cabins is self-check-in with a lockbox. The wood cabins are set on a wooded 10-acre property, and guests are encouraged to enjoy the slow pace and simple pleasures of living in the country. During your vacation stay, you can head down the dirt drive and let your worries slip away. You can enjoy breathing in the fresh air, enjoying a coffee on the porch, and settle in to relax for a while. You'll love The Farmhouse for its large front porch, lush beds, cedar siding, vintage decor, and beautiful views.
The Farmhouse cabin buildings have 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with one king-sized and one queen-sized bed. The farmhouse wood cabins have one full-size futon in the upstairs loft with a queen-sized bed. The master bedroom and bath are located on the main floor. The second bedroom and bathroom are located in a lofted space upstairs with the bathroom tucked around a corner from the bed, but since it is a loft there isn't a door on the bedroom or the bathroom upstairs. There is a full kitchen with a small electric stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishes, and cookware. There is a coffee maker with grounds, filters, sugar, and creamer that are provided along with assorted teas. The bathrooms have custom showers and sinks that are set into antique dressers. The back deck has a private hot tub and covered porch off of the master bedroom.
Amenities include a charcoal grill and fire pit, a large covered front porch, TV with a DVD player, a full-sized washer and dryer, adjustable air conditioning and heat, eco-friendly shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion. Guests to the farmhouse wood cabins are welcome to roam around the 10 acres, so you'll want to make sure to bring your boots and bug spray. There are a rustic hiking trail and a beautiful overlook from the highest peak on the vacation property. The farmhouse cabin buildings have a fire pit next to the cabin and a grill on the back porch which guests may use if they bring along firewood, charcoal, etc.
The wood cabins supply amenities to include toilet paper, towels, and sheets. You'll want to keep in mind that this is a rustic wood cabin retreat so there isn't wifi and some cell providers have spotty service. The television does have a DVD player but no cable so you'll want to bring your favorite movies if you would like to watch something. The owners hope that you enjoy your time away from the hustle and bustle of your day to day life. Children 2 and under are free.
