    On this procedure is it necessary to hookup the j box ? Or can you do the procedure without?

    • @JVFIXLLC
      @JVFIXLLC  Год назад +1

      not necessarily the box is just to speed up the code reteival without the box takes hours to get the code

      So it'll take longer without the j2534 box.

      @segtow yea sometimes it takes a whole day without the gbox cause I have done it lol

    Hey! Thanks for the video! I'm using the IM508 and it doesn't come with the ECU reprogrammer - is it necessary to use the J2534 ECU reprogrammer, or can it be done without it? is there any difference? Thanks in advance!

      yea, you need the xp400 that's the one that does all the password calculation

    Saludos amigo es el mismo tiempo que se tarda para sacar el password haciendolo desde el carro o es mas rapido removiendo el EIS y conectarlo en bech mode fast directo con el gbox?

    What’s the difference from this to a bench g box. This looks way easier. A reply would be much appreciated. Bless you for the knowledge

      bench is mostly used if you don't have the car physically, and someone shipped the components to you to get it programmed. in my opinion, for me is better if I go where the car is. on bench you need to create your own harness and power supply is not too difficult to do but is mostly used when you have to clone ecus and other things.

      Password calculation is faster on bench sometimes it take hours.

    Great video, but strange how this year car and such model can be programmed, bcs it should be FBS4 type key, seems in this case it's FBS3. For the moment there is no device that can program FBS4 keys for MB.

      yea u right i think this is the last model that still used the fbs3. fbs4 you need to use ARBITRES to do it.

      Nice work man, amazing video and accurate information, I am just wondering where did you connect that single red wire on the GBox. The green connection on 3:25 timing of the videos. What that connection for? Totally appreciate you man. Thanks for your amazing videos.
