I think everything you commented is really on point and accurate, thought watching the video I realised that in the last part, in order for the back to go forward with the vivora, you need to stop and use the weith of your body to transfer that weith into the ball, if that does not happen, the back muscles will never be going forward with the hit.

First of Gabo, thank yyou for the video. I always appreciate people expanding the knowledge of padel. However, I have to disagree in some of your points regarding the bandeja. First would be that the classic bandeja is more of a defensive safe shot than an attacking shot. Bela and Salazar have very offensive bandejas but it is because of their style of playing. DiNenno is more of a defensive shot. Chingotto can play a vibora from the right because he is amazingly fast and can get into a vibora position in time. All 3 shots (vibora, bandeja, gancho) are meant to retain the net position (maybe vibora is more offensive, but still applies). I've played both left and right sides. For me vibora is my go to shot on the left, but on the right is always bandeja. Both serve a purpose depending on the point situation. I would never dismiss any type of shot. Afterall, the more tools you have, the better player you can become.

Thank you for your feedback but the players you have mentioned (in my humble opinion) don’t play bandeja; they play víbora defensive, neutral and offensive depending on the lob they get and how they have gotten to the ball.
Gancho is also used and for backhand players, the rulo.
If you really pay attention from a technical point of view, the motion all these players you mention use, is a víbora “side spin” shot with more or less rotation.
Anyway, it is nice to have different opinions and that will always be, however, I hope you always have a good argument to back up what you share and surely being able to show it with your weapon and game style.
      ❤❤❤❤

@coach_gabo8425 yeah i competely agree with you. I have a more classic style. It works for me because i know i dont have the speed needed at 42. My only point, and i'll just mention this as a fun fact, my coach right now is one who started padel as a sport. He obviously kicks my a$$ to the ground . But the most valuable lesson I learnt from him is that Padel is a slow sport and you have to prepare the winning shot. Even a bandeja can make your next shot a winner. Thankyou for replaying. I really hope your channel grows and we expand the padel community

I see this weird advices in almost every padel video. Why is it that when you show vibora or other shots you are turning the racket around the ball. I'm a beginner but I don't see how that is possible to do when hitting. ruclips.net/video/JPr8LXaCCv0/видео.html

that's in slow motion...in a normal game you accelerate the racket head so you don't see the motion clearly

    •  2 дня назад +1

@@andreafederer it is impossible to wrap the ball like he is showing when hitting the ball

Thank you for your feedback. Do what works for you and nothing is impossible… just different perspectives and approaches to things.
Keep enjoying padel the tasty way or your way! But make sure you enjoy the game ❤️❤️❤️

Absolutely not impossible. Its just the natural direction your arm will take as it rotates around your shoulder. So dont focus too much on the rotation but rather on actually hitting the ball correctly. The rotation comes by itself when you are in the correct body position and swing your arm.

@@simeonlinke3437 Thanks for the help! I think I understand how to hit it, will test a bit next time I practice.
