No need to remove door panel completely off. I left mines hanging you’ll have enough gap to disconnect the mirror connector nothing will get damaged. You’ll save an hour. This is a 10 min job!!
After you reattach the cable for the handle, be sure to test it. You can use a screwdriver to flip the door latch closed. Then try the handle and see if it pops open. I put mine back wrong, closed the door, and was unable to open it. It was by the grace of God that I was able to get it back open. Be better than me. Test your door handle before closing it. Also, fantastic video. Thank you so much!
I wish you would show how to replace the _driver side_ mirror. Your earlier video showed replacing the passenger side. I was following this video along but am stuck trying to disconnect the cables from the door panel. They are different on the driver side.
I have to replace the black plastic case of the passenger side mirror, can I do it with out removing the connector cables, as I don't think they will provide me with the calibration sheet with just the casing part
