Yes, all of infinity is happening in a single moment, but the consciousness within each frame includes memories of the previous frame, so we perceive them as flowing into one another, whether it's moment to moment (time) or lifetime to lifetime. So it's both, all god right now, AND a progression. If you split a walk cycle into frames, and included consciousness in each frame, then even if you tell the computer to experience them simultaneously, the awareness of frame 1 excludes all the others, and the awareness of frame 2 includes only a memory of frame 1, so it's constantly arriving in frames that it's always been in. Just like I'm you right now, but I will also experience going through countless lifetimes to become the variables of your current state of being.
What if there's no way to understand or know the workings of the law of cause and effect(karma)? And this is what causes reincarnation? Even if you have non dual understanding and awareness it doesn't mean you are above the law of cause and effect in this realm. Maybe from the ultimate perspective there is no reincarnation because there is no self to reincarnate, but you can't forget about the relative perspective.
I'm curios to find out what he means by "don't meditate" .. I can only assume that he means the western interpretation of it, that forcing of your brain to focus on something in particular when it just wants to wander about ^^ but then Buddhist meditation is a sort of dissociated and dislocated focus which sounds a lot like what he's saying, so that's why it's a bit confusing. Because Buddhists advice against trying to control anything, quite the opposite, they teach letting go, but if you get a better understanding of it, they actually preach letting things be. So you get distracted, you let go of your inner comments and let the situation be and gently bring yourself back into focus whereby this focus should almost be natural not imposed. But maybe I'm wrong, would be nice to have some light shed on this.
Martin contradicts himself, he says that everything is god but somehow there is still a wrong way of doing things and we should take his word as an authority
I think it's just the choice of words. Buddhists don't call it "wrong" just "unskillful". Say if you need to pee there is no wrong way to do this, you can just go pee, or you can force yourself to not pee and torment yourself ^^ the latter part isn't less "godly" than the former, it's just less skillful in that it produces quite unnecessary suffering on your part. Or about taking dmt, you can do this in a twisted way and get something out of it, or do it more skillfully and have much more from it, so there's isn't exactly a "wrong" way, but you can make your life easier^^
@@AL.farmlife actually they havent found dmt in the human brain, only the lungs and maybe another area of the body. they've found it in the brains of rats but no evidence its in human brains yet
Not very satisfied with Martin's take on "why is there suffering?", it is exactly the same as theists always claim: God is everything, all love, all knowing consciousness, the creator of all - oh except when it comes to suffering, that's YOU. Martin even goes so far as to say "there is no YOU" and that you ARE God. Therefore God has caused itself to suffer - there is no way around this statement for a theist - and if so, then that is not intelligent. Evolution is not very intelligent; childbirth, death, disease, famine, murder, one life needing to eat another thus causing it agony. The creative God argument just deosn't make sense. I have no doubt Martin experienced this, I have experienced it myself, but I think it might either be an illusion caused by the mind, or consciousness IS everything but it doesn't intelligently (stupidly) create matter.
I sort of believe in God. I also have similar thoughts. I wonder if God/One/Consciousness/Source/ect is actually intelligent. It seems to just be, it is, God is, i am, everything is. Nothing very intelligent about that, it's pretty simple really. Edit: also to reduce phenomenon to chemicals in the brain is an epistemological error if i've ever seen one.
You misinterpret what Martin is saying. He explains mainly the suffering people undergo is created by ego or collective egos. You are not your ego therefore God is not the ego. The ego creates/endures suffering.
But if god is infinite possibilities! everything has to be included! and this is just one aspect of this infinite reality.!God is all that's possible and impossible! At least that's my take on it!
I have enjoyed many episodes of Martin's podcast, recently however I've noticed its always been his guests that I have enjoyed, and also that Martin is a very different person in real life, where he can't control the questions put to him. Honestly he comes across as so naive in this interview. I'm glad he has concluded his use of 5meo and NN, as we all do eventually (there's always very special occasions.. :)) But yeah. We should naturally, given proper use, all stop at some point, for the most part. Anyone finding themselves question Martin's views and methods of argument? Martin, you said "There's suffering, but so what? That's the way God plays with itself and sometimes it's nasty." Do you really think you can maintain such a detached outlook in the face of something like perhaps your son is kidnapped at the park or your wife is raped? In the presence of true evil are you really going to say "So what? It's just a play of God." These are the hard questions and I am curious of your answer.
He still may say oh shit and go and help his son or his wife but he just won’t have a narrative around it. Like if his wife’s getting raped he would probably just think oh shit my wife’s getting raped and try and help her but If he’s enlightened he won’t be suffering after like why me why my wife fuck that guy etc etc
Amazing interview.
I remember you from the interview you had with Leo from actualized.org👍🌍

Simply because that progression is inherent within the experience.

well i guess it depends when youtube counts a view cause idk
Well, there will be no reincarnation for Mr. Ball because all that DMT dissolved his soul
for your information in that case we are all dissolved same way cause DMT in Your brain if you didn't know that

Good info but at the same time, I see a lot of EGO consciousness in Martin. No judgment, just saying.
Duh because you cannot have no ego
