Hello! Thank you❤ yes you definitely can do it on straight needles, the only difference would be that when you work in the round with circular needles, you knit every stitch to get stockinette. But working back and forth on straight needles you need to do one row knit one row purl. @@paulasmith9328 no worries at all and I did thank you! So you'd work back and forth, and once you've got the length you desire you would need to seam up the sides together. So your cast on stitches will be the circumference, and the rows will be the length. Sew up the two sides together and then the straps will be worked the same.
