  • My 1000th video...
    A heavy armored SWAT truck (MRAP - Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle) from the FBI followed by two unmarked cars responding in NYC on W 37th St. The first video was taken on 7th Ave, and all that traffic made it possible for me to just walk past them and film them once more at 8th Ave, and if I didn't had an appointment at the Penn Hotel, I woul have gone on like this with 9th Ave etc. It took 6 minutes for them to get from 7th to 8th Ave, I cut 1 minute of the 2nd video where they just stood there.
    A short review: 1000 videos... In these 1000 videos I filmed 2832 emergency vehicles from all kinds of organisations responding to emergencies (yes I really took my time to count them). And just a few days ago I also passed the mark of 2000 subscribers. That all ist just ... WOW ... Thanks alot to all my viewers, all their comments, ratings, feedbacks, support, motivation, information - that all makes me going on and you can expect many great videos coming up in the future :)

      +CobraEmergencyVideos To be honest ... as I heard the siren while I was still one street further north, I didn't put much effort to run to that intersection. My thought were "it's just gonna be an ordinary ambulance" ... and I was SO wrong with that thought. As soon as I filmed it, it was clear that it's gonna be uplaoded as my 1000th video. If I didn't have an appointment, I would have proceeded to the 3rd intersection and film it a 3rd time as well.
      Best thing about this one: it's not some kind of apparatus which gets few calls and all people know that it's there, but that it's hard to film, but it rather was new to everyone that this thing actually exists there

    • @CobraEmergency

      This wasn't FBI, otherwise you would see all red/blue lights on every portion of the vehicle. Only NY state and local police use white lights instead of blue on the front.

    • @dancushman677
      @dancushman677 7 лет назад +6

      The MRAP has blue lights facing forward, which is a violation of New York state law. New York law requires blue lights may only be facing towards the rear of the vehicle. Article 9 section 375(41) 4-b states "In addition to the red and white lights authorized to be displayed... one or more blue lights... may be affixed to a police vehicle... provided that such blue light or lights shall be displayed... for rear projection only."
      I don't see any exemptions for Federal vehicles, but I'd be more apt to believe a Federally owned and operated MRAP with emergency lighting would ignore this section of the law more than the NYSP or NYPD would. Which leads me to believe that the assumption that the vehicle is a Federal vehicle is more likely. However I did notice that the Crown Victoria following the MRAP displayed New York license plates, rather than U.S. Government plates.

    • @EnjoyFirefighting
      @EnjoyFirefighting  7 лет назад +4

      although the cover is blue, the lights behind it seem to flash white; Blue strobes would be clearly be seen as blue lights;
      Anyway, would you take down some lights when you are responding to a call in another state, which doesn't support the lights setup on your emergency vehicle? I've seen emergency vehicles from Illinois and Texas responding code 3 in NYC ...
      I'm so glad we only have federal laws concerning all vehicles, traffic codes, lights setups over here in Germany

    • @dancushman677
      @dancushman677 7 лет назад +1

      EnjoyFirefighting - International Emergency Response Videos Probably not. Though Texas and Illinois law enforcement don't have any jurisdiction in NYC unless granted by the NYPD, NYSP, or NYSO. So in normal circumstances they wouldn't respond to any sort of emergency in New York.

We are debating on wether or not the army can lend a microwave tank to burn American citizens in order to deter them from protesting...a military state with racial bias.

      That's the New York way of life. People in pretty much every other part of the country actually stop for traffic and emergency vehicles. Everyone in the rest of the world takes one look at New York or LA and thinks that all Americans are snobby assholes who don't give two shits about anyone but themselves. That's where you're wrong.

      I'm thinking the same thing.. It's a fuckin joke.. O.O Any half decent fireman or whatever (just watched FDNY responses so. :P) From MY country, would jump out with an axe and start hitting cars so they might move if it EVER got half as bad over here, as it is in NY..

    • @Emka877

    That MRAP seriously needs more lights. There's no lighting to aid in side visibility for intersection clearing.

    Well goddamn.
    Why did they HAVE to bring a damn MRAP. WHY. There's no Mines in NY and there's no Ambushes. Still really impressive tho, if I was the bad guy seing this big ass APC arriving on the scene I'd surrender real quick

    • @EnjoyFirefighting

      Bonnie the Bunny well in this specific case it's very lickely that the 'bad guy' was a cannibal NYPD officer

      ?
      I just know that one out of 2 listed FBI incidents that day was about the cannibal NYPD officer, and the direction to that incidents fits to the video as well

    It looks like a Marauder to me. But I'm not sure. It's a sort of combatvehicle which can be bought by civilians too. Greetings from Belgium too ;)
