Easiest way to get to it to lay in good is take a air mattress and fill it 2/3 away with water with it laying on top and then let it sit overnight and it'll mold perfectly

Agreed! I did that with my jeep cj. Did the complete firewall, trans tunnel, floors, everything inside besides the cage and such. Granted it was stripped down to nothing so it was perfect timing. Works great, looks great, and most importantly, washes right out. I just have to be careful around my dash with the radio and gauges. Otherwise, garden hose and power washer work great for cleanup after mudding.
@@zaccorter78there’s ways of protecting the harnesses and keeping them dry and still be able to hose out your rig and not have major electrical issues . Mind you , he’s gonna be windows open and dash full of water and mud just like the budget bogger lol
@@zaccorter78I worked for an excavation company and I had a 2014 F350 work truck with them that had vinyl flooring. When I would deep clean it I just sprayed soap down, scrubbed with a brush, and washed it out with a hose. Never had a problem. But it may be a different story with power seats

Make a insert for your favorite cooler so you can take it in and out with you. My recommendation is get the Milwaukee packout stuff and it’ll stay locked to the floor and not bouncing around

I have that same manual shift mode on my 2009 2500HD 6.0 gas 6 speed. I used it a lot towing 10,400lbs of RV and boat behind me. Made engine breaking easy. Took it empty through several high mountain passes as well. Also, good for those.

JH, get a two gallon sprayer, put almost a full bottle of Dawn dish soap in the water. Makes a great wasp spray and is cheap.
I'll give you a tip on doing vinyl floors after you get it laid out in the vehicle set a electric space heater inside and close the doors letting it cook for a couple hrs and its way easier to work

Old seats should go in the back and put a secondary cooler in the back or a custom center dry console for camera gear and batteries
Maybe for your next mega truck you can wait to start the interior until its about 12 feet in the air. Lift every seat, tool, wire, everything you need inside the cab but its even higher off the ground!

The old mud truck is when I first found cleetus McFarlands channel through demolition ranch when he did his first Le mullets race at the freedom factory and if I remember correctly he put a clip of the truck rolling over into a pond

Hit the vinyl floor with a heat gun or some kind of heat to get it to relax and form to the floor! Even a little propane torch just be careful not to melt it!!!
It gets great. The rear seats are paintable black, thats cheap and everything fits good.
PRP, Beard, Corbeau all make racing bench seats. Not sure dimensionally if they would work but it would look cool back there

I would suggest doing a spray in floor liner as that rubber mate is going to hold moisture under it and it may still stink.

If u do a Y bar instead of an X bar u got leg room for the back seat. Curved bar around the back of the front seat with a straight bar donw in the middle or a mini X bar down in the middle then a big V bar on top. Works great

Try to clean the old seats up and fab mounts for the rear? new harnesses of course. Would still be off color with the fronts though. Can't wait to see it ripping!
JH you need to look for a factory F250 Amarillo Edition back seats there black! Would look perfect with the front seats. I have an Amarillo edition.

Throw some marine grease on the seat slides works real good
Close the doors put a heater inside on high overnight makes them settle really nice
You can build a center consol out of stainless steel within cupholders and to put in a igloo 12v box there

You guys should try FREEZE OFF its in a silver can with blue lettering . I recently got a new job as a mechanic for a fleet of semis and they use it over never seen something break a rusted bolt free like it in my life you should really give it a try its not cheap but when you really need it for things like this seat track I think you would be impressed. Loving the content this is all I watch by the time im out of work I dont have any tv shows on but boy JH and justing sure pull through.

The little black box under dash looks like It’s a security device smaller dealerships put on vehicles that people are making payments on so if u miss payments your vehicle won’t start. I had one on my truck when I bought it

Yall should try submerging those seat brackets in Evaporust, you can get it from tractor supply or harbor freight, that shit eats rust and will have those seat frames back to bare metal in a few hours.

I know it’s probably in now but doors shut with a space heater on does wonders on that job.
If you're using a steering wheel cover, my trick is to put a dot of gorilla glue at the inside top and bottom, if you're using a cover, the original is probably crappy, so a dot of glue won't hurt
