You could argue that it's always been like that, it just so happens that before social media you didn't have as many Player FC fanboys. But let's not act like the award in the past also didnt have strange winners
@DjayTriple8 the voting deadline was moved back so CR7 can do his things and win it. not only that, during that extended voting period, people could change their votes. many did. it worked wonderfully in Cristiano favor. there is an alternate dimension where Fifa didn't change their schedule and Ribery won a ballon d'or.
As a Liverpool fan for the last 52 years of my life, I have seen so many great players at Liverpool football club come and go, but Mo Salah is the greatest player in Liverpool FC,I am happy Mo is a Liverpool player. The great Egyptian people should love and respect Mo Salah.YNWA
Dude hell yes. Make a Salah video. Salah is one of the most underrated and disrespected players but he’s up there with the best to EVER play in England.
Speaking of English premier league only, Salah has 170 goals and 78 assists already. If he plays for 3.5 seasons, he'll definitely break alan shearer's record of 260 goals as a winger! That's crazy especially for a player who doesn't even play striker role and came in his late years and just played 7 full seasons with liverpool. His assists are just as good as his goals and he won playmaker of the year too vying for more playmaker of the year and goalscorer of the year at the same time. He will have 2nd most assist in pl history and most goals in pl history! He literally plays 50+ games every season in the toughest league. His body is just built different. He can play important games after every 3 days and still deliver. Double his salary for playing 2x every week without ever getting injured and Let him play 3 more seasons and seal his status as the pl goat 🐐.
Salah is the best winger to ever play in the PL. Salah scored more goals than Ronaldo in his Ballon D'or season. Salah's been doing it for 8 years and counting.
I know a lot already about Mo’s development and his long ride/journey to where he’s at. Yes I’m a Liverpool fan but I’m also Salah FC fan for many years, so if you wanna make a video about him, please go ahead and try to impress people like me as well.😊 Thanks in advance and I’m looking forward to it.
He does occassionally mis-speak (like saying 1978, when 1982 flashed up on the screen). I've noticed him do it once or twice on other videos, but you let them go because they're few and far between and his content is generally pretty decent.
Great vid dude, Everton fan but Salah’s so good. You should check out Michael Laudrup, beautiful playing style, skilful as hell, one of the best players of the 80’s and early 90’s. Young Maradona was insane as well, think maybe most naturally talented player of all time.
6:20 you are missing the poetry of what Shanks was saying, the working class people , especially of Shanks' time live life and death every day, and football is their freedom, their escape, but its also their identity, their voice, where thousands become one powerful force, so therefore....life and death, its far more important than that., Look how much that man conveyed in 2 sentences, and the depth of that emotion. That's a statement that speak to the heart of everyone it was directed at, hat man was a Poet and a General at the same time
Shanklys quote is often misunderstood as a joke of sorts though it was not. he saw football for many, including himself, as something that can get you back up, give you a reason to keep going and all that. having served in world war 2 Shankly knew all about matters of life and death after all, so to say he joked about it, is just plain wrong, he was a realist and not a friend of the sport being seen as entertainment by some, who obviously don't know people, who have very little besides their love for their club. wether or not that's a good thing is up for debate of course but it is what it is and Shankly knew that.
I'm a Liverpool fan and we're only 4 points ahead of Chelsea before xmas, there's a long way to go, Chelsea are playing well and have insane squad depth so that's scary, I think we'll need 2-3 quality signings in January to stay ahead and keep the squad fresh enough not to drop off like last season, but it's looking like a title race between us Chelsea and Arsenal, City are looking out of ideas. Salah is the most criminally ignored player by the Ballon d'Or, season after season since 2017 he's just done it time and time again, the stats are incredible, which are almost identical to the stats of Henry who is considered the best ever player in the Prem by many, but then again, Henry never won the Ballon d'Or either!
Im not too worried about Chelsea because defensively theyre not great and their keeper is not of the standard but Arsenal could still turn it around if we slip up
You need to win a trophy to win the ballon d'or. It's always messi or Ronaldo whichever team won champions league 😂. Unfortunately he was injured in champions league final and Liverpool crumbled after that. That's why salah missed on ballon d'or even though he was the best player that season arguably. But Liverpool was a very average team before salah came. It's a miracle they reached champions league final that season (the most prestigious trophy available) when virtually no one...not even Liverpool fans predicted it. Even henry (arguably the best English premier league player ever) has never won a ballon d'or. Winning domestic league is mot enough...you need to win champions league. And if there's international competitions going on like world cup, euro, copa america... win it. That's why messi won it after winning copa america and world cup even though lewandoski had a much better season.
@@therealhb1763who’s better then? The people at the start won’t admit it because he’s not black like them and he plays for a rival club. What’s your excuse?
Liverpool channel will provide you alot about his skills and personality.. also check how he used to ride buses to train when he was a kid,,, check when he stopped his car when a kid broke his nose running behind him,,, also check why ppl love him.. what he did when his house was robbed.. or when he fueled cars of ppl in a gas station.. or what he said to kids herrasing a homeless man,, this is what I remember now...
Yo man , regarding youre own football learning curve etc: I suggest focusing on touch /Receiving the ball, and getting your body in between defenders and the ball. Because you are tall and a bigger dude, you can use size in hold up play. If you train your touch that you can receive passes of all kinds , even half decent , you could become very effective. Football is a game where you can use all different types of body shapes very effectively. Its not the prem , so you get vast array of body types. Also balance, do as much balance training as possible, anything that improve balance, as its for sure a complimentary skill for touch. you need to be sturdy on one leg Honestly one of the best players I have ever played against was 50-55 years old, fully grey haired, could hardly run, Round beer bellied Guy. but his touch was A+, and his passing was just butter, he was un-pressable, and this was when i was a wirey 26 yearold, playing 2 to 3 times a week , and I am no mug been kicking a ball since 2 and played organised from 6 upwards, and when I was 26 I was very quick, with an endless pressing engine, on a 5 a side pitch, so small space Im 43 now and I always think of that dude, I'm still quite wirey but have lost most of my pace, although Im still quick enough over 5-10 yards, but that's all going now, so I have to focus more on using my height , my touch and using my body well and reading the game, I thin back to playing that guy , and it inspires me to keep playing. If that guy was that good at that age , with that physique (and his team whooped mine btw) then anything is possible with the right mindset and a bit of practice. Way I see it dude, you may have started late, but you got at least 10 -15 years to still get pretty good, that's enough time
Actually Salah didnt get "robbed" by Messi for the 17/18 season, Ronaldo won in 2017 and Modric in 2018 and although Salah was amazing, he didnt have the trophies as he mentioned in the video. Also its really hard to compete with Ronaldo's numbers or Modric's world cup campaign
He was purchased by Roma, but he would have had to wait for the transfer window to leave Fiorentina, he would've finished his time there before leaving when the window opened.
Salah has not even been considered in the race for the Ballon D'Or, it's mostly because he's not soutamerican or european... he doesn't have the hype machine behind him to support him. He literally needs to be godlike to win it. This might be the year. Regarding that year... well, that year they gave it to Luka Modric and Salah ended 6th in the vote.

Look, how Ramos took Salah's hand and grasped it tightly, and Ramos brought Salah's hand down without releasing it with him as they were rolling on the ground.
