Hey there kindly tell me what should the age of mother plant to remove the cuttings for producing new saplings, As some say the plant need to complete 3 yrs of life to take cuttings while others say cutting can be removed after 1st year fruiting ..
Pls tell whether there will be difference in heath, productivity, maturity etc of cuttings in above 2 cases i.e cutting from 1yr oldplant and cuttings from 3 yr old plant ..
      Thankyou .

Love your videos! I started to grow dragonfruit from the seeds of an albertsons dragonfruit, and they are doing amazing! I was wondering if you could upload a video on how to take care of seedlings when they start to get maybe 4 to 6 inches tall? Mine are getting pretty big, and I need some tips so I can keep them growing and thriving. Thanks for all that you do!

Hi GDF - Thanks for sharing all the great content/knowledge. I would like to apply just NP fertilizer (organic), w/o K. Do you know if that is even possible, do you know?

My stock was just contaminated with what appears to be rust (only my flowering hybrid varieties so far, they’re so finicky) and now I’m terrified it’s cactus virus X. Spraying all my tools and new stock with hydrogen peroxide like crazy! Haven’t seen anything on my pitaya, fingers crossed. Some mottling I’m concerned about though ugh! For reference I’m from Texas. Literally crying right now.

I've seen a few videos of people eating the stem. Have you ever tried it? I would like to see a taste test of the stem of different varieties.

My plants were doing so well until these crazy winds and basically raining every day here in nor cal. They might be to far gone to save at this point which is pretty sad since watching them grow for the past year and a half

I have noticed that certain DF have a white coating on the plant. Is that powdery mildew or a natural protective coasting that some DF have to protect it from the sun's harmful rays?

Another approach to get rid of the rust is using Soluble seaweed powder. I have been using it and it has worked. No longer use the Copper Fungicide

Hey Richard. I’m here in so cal too and looks like we got about a week of rain coming. I’m putting my plants under cover in my patio. Is there anything you do to avoid the excess water? Or do you just let it ride.

Go straight to the copper fungicide, IMO. Thats whats used for other fruit trees.
