I just found Caleb and the Foghorn String Band with Reeb Willms. They're one of the best true string bands out there today. Their harmonies are tight and sound just like I remember with the Carter Family, the Stanley Brothers and they match the best of them.
These folks soar to new musical heights not heard since the Carters, The Stanleys, and the great groups who came to us from the mountains. Such incredible talent!
I live in the bay area of calif. I would love to make the 15 hour drive to see them in person . Do you ever give advanced notice to when you will be in Portland?
