Laura, this video is a good one! ( I think HGTV- should reach out to you- and give you your own Show) The scenery drive- the stories- all so good...and oh course the thrift store finds! I promise you when you got to your first goodwill store- I barely could contain myself- I felt so much excitement- I felt like running through the store! Watching this for the 1st time in July 2024 and thoroughly enjoying it. That turquoise pendant, .....if I could have jumped through the screen to get it. Thank you so much, I'm getting to visit places I'd otherwise never see. Really enjoyed this travel blog/thrifting rrip. Plus, those gorgeous cowboy boots! Heaven. Thanks again x
Your vlogs are the most magical and genuine I've ever seen! I love that you share your life experiences, thrifting finds and your amazing interior design style. And giving us the opportunity to see different parts of the country are an added bonus! Thank you for being the wonderful person you are and sharing everything! 💙
Oh Laura I could watch your wonderful adventures for hours, the quality and fab content of your videos are second to none!. Beautiful finds once again ♥️😊🇬🇧
I second that! Im a new subscriber to Laura's channel but I feel like I have been on a holiday whilst I am watching and I love her style and how she explains the different styles and era of the pieces that catch her eye! What a beautiful country you live in!

Golden Girls in Helena used to have the best store cat, a big orange tabby named Copper. He was a love sponge and was quite the local celebrity. One day he got out of the store and climbed in a customer's truck, wound up in a town several miles away but was adopted by the customer.
Girl you did it again! Those scenic beautiful places you visit, my eyes would never see if it wasn't for you. And geeze that backyard you have with the hammock in it. I don't think I could ever leave home with all the beauty you are surrounded in! The shopping was perfect as always to!
I was in line at a Goodwill in Waco, Texas recently, I was talking to a lady and we both started talking about you and how we love your vlog and wouldn't miss it for the world. So, you definitely have a fan base in Texas! Keep doing you!❤

Laura, that cookie jar/crock with a lid is a Ransburg cookie Jar, they were made only for a few years in Indiana. One of the marketing tools the founder used, well he filled his jars with cookies and put them in the hardware store windows, so when the Lady of the House came shopping alone or with her husband, she loved the colorful jar and usually went hone with it. They were cold painted, so I would not advise you keep it outside. I learned all this from the research for my Etsy Shop, you remember Etsy, 😂😂. Continue to stay safe and well ❤️
Ransburg pottery is related to red wing but not the same company. It was started by a cousin. I think. My first piece i save from a gentle man that thought the beautiful painting was done by a diy'er. He was going to scrape all the paint off. My heart stopped. I told him i would buy it just as it was. He gave it to me for less than 10. Which started my ransburg pottery collection. Keep your eye out for the painted metal pieces. Chic plastic wraper covers and paper towels. Happy hunting.
This was almost enough to make me miss Oregon. I lived in Portland for 20 years and still have wonderful friends there. When I see the beautiful scenery, I have to remind myself, "...but, the RAIN!" I grew up in California, so the rain really was hard on me. Still, Oregon is beautiful. Thanks for sharing your roadtrip.
Love the long straight roads. There are only a few places in New Zealand where you get a few miles/kilometers that are straight and flat. We have lots of windey roads over hills.
I will sometimes watch "West Coast Thrift Journey with Tammy Fletcher" - her style is more Boho, & she isn't Laura Caldwell, of course:), but she thrifts at some of the same stores in the Portland/Beaverton area.. For what it's worth:).
As I write this, I'm spending my last night in Montana, after attending my son's beautiful wedding in Whitefish! Earlier last week, a large group met at glacier national park, where the brave decided to hike up a mountain trail, to a chalet, to spend the night, before hiking back down the next day! I stayed at a quaint motel, right outside the park, in Hungry Horse. We're heading back to Ohio, a 2,000+ mile drive, in the morning. Montana is a beautiful country with beautiful people! I stopped in at a little grocery/gas station and found a cane/walking stick, tucked behind a rack of candy. It was carved from a lightweight wood and had strange nobs, made from pine resin and decayed pinecone. I asked if it was for sale, and the owner of the store said"It could be"! He then told me it was carved by a friend, out of "Larch wood", something I never heard of before. It's a type of pine tree that drops it's needles every Fall, is a soft wood, but very strong. He gave me a price of $10, and I immediately said, SOLD! It's more like a walking stick, but seems to have been made for me. It's the perfect height and weight, for me to use on the day's I need extra help getting around. I'll be taking home fond memories of my week in Montana, along with a beautiful new daughter in-law!
I just wonder Laura if you truly realize how beautiful you are inside and out? I just love you and your positive attitude toward life in general. You are amazing and I love your videos. I want so bad to have some of the stuff you buy but can't have. But if it makes someone else just as happy that's great too!! Stay sweet you!!
So many things to fall in love with in this video, Laura. My favorite thing? The hammock with the pillows you bought--I just wanted to curl up with a good book--so inviting!

I know this video is a year old but I’m a new fan who LOVES everything you do! I wanted to tell you a little story about Wallace, ID…I’ll give you the short version… my parents and I opened our Pizza Factory in the Silver Valley…first in Kellogg and then moved it to Wallace where we had bought our homes… When the movie Dante’s Peak came into town we had just reopened the Pizza Factory …and I met so many amazing “movie people”, celebrities included… but the most important person I met while they were on location in our little town was my Husband! He is a set builder and worked on this movie…26 years later and we’re still going strong! I moved back to CA now and he’s still building sets for Hollywood! It was so neat to watch this video and see your shots of the town! Love it…💗
Laura, what a wonderful trip and video again! I could watch for hours on end, as everything in your videos is so beautiful , the natural beauty of the landscapes, different towns, so beautiful art , jewellry and objects you are picking and telling us about, and last but not least you are such a pretty vibrant girl and I just love your style ( and the hats!). Realky enjoyed the Oregon trip but Montana episode had something special in it 👏👏👏
I was born, raised, and have lived here all my life. It's a beautiful state, but we worry It's getting over crowded with too many newcomers moving in. It's called Big Sky Country and it's home. Glad you were able to visit Laura 😊!
I really appreciate your slow camera. So many videos from creators I love to watch make me seasick. Makes your videos all the more enjoyable, because I actually can enjoy them. Thanks for the thoughtfulness. 😊
Laura, theses episodes where you show the beautiful scenery of America are fantastic. I am enjoying them so much. Thanks for taking the time to show us these special parts of the country I would never have seen otherwise. You are a cool person and so is Jesse!

Yay! Another video! I just looked yesterday to see if you had dropped another video yet & here you are! I love that you film so much of Oregon! I have always said that the Columbia River Gorge is my backyard- I have spent so much time, not only working in the Gorge, but exploring the trails & hiking around the waterfalls. It is truly my heaven on earth! Portland is getting a bad rap right now because of the homelessness & riot issues, but it is still my home & I will always love it here! Thank you for showcasing our state's beauty! Also, thank you for the beautiful marcasite, mother of pearl & black onyx ring! I absolutely love it & knowing it comes from you makes it so much more special! xoxo

Beautiful road trip and treasures! The yarn winder was used to measure your yarn into a certain length, or skein (different length for various yarns). The winder, some call it a weasel, has gears and a way to set the winder to wind a certain length of yarn. When a full skein was reached, the winder would go "pop" on the gears. Remember the song "Pop goes the Weasel"? I'm not a spinner, but I worked at a living history museum in Ohio many years ago. I loved watching the spinning and weaving ladies!
I’m so glad I found your you tube videos. I could listen to you talk for hours. I’m learning so much about art and pottery as well as other antiques. I’m way too old to start collecting but I do enjoy seeing them and hearing about them.
