Dope bro me n my girl always go to skyway from Orlando just to fish n chill picked up a cast net today and will try your lazy way technique lol hopefully I catch some bait 🤘🏽
O wow thank you man. I've had two back surgeries and plan to try fishing at the skyway after 3 years and this technique has been so helpful. I was worried how I'd throw my cast net without hurting my back
Looks so simple from the pier can't wait to try it. Great video. I am a 77-year-old grandmother who loves to fish just got my first cast net can't wait to try it
I must admit that’s a clever way to open a net from above. Through some chum balls up current right before you let it go, you will have more bait than you can lift up. Good job
Isaiah Sampson yea you can do this with any cast net. I’ve done it with a 12 ft before. Just make sure you grab it lower so the top doesn’t rip from the weight.
@@MatthewHKnight you must not be fishing off skyway then 😂 cause you’re allowed in designated area, a lady that works for the pier was cast netting Pelicans the other day to remove hooks, you’re allowed
@@savdylandaubenspeck7825 because a lady was cast netting in that location to catch birds with hooks makes it a location that you can cast net at lmao. First off the Skyway pier is a Googan spot so many better places to fish in St Pete
Good technique, good cast, just ONE IMPORTANT thing, don't put it around your wrist. If you land the net on even an 8ft shark you'll be going over, and there are much bigger fish down there off the bridge.
People don’t listen to this dude😂. The net will break. It’s only mono. Always strap it on your hand . Don’t be stupid cause you’ll lose the net and it will be more trash in the ocean.

That is so genius bro , gotta give you props

This is brilliant! Definitely going to give this a try! Thanks man!
sweet, thanks for the tip. I was just there and was struggling with my net.

awesome!! thanks!!
I can attest this man is a master fisherman
Great technique !
I wouldn’t call that lazy but it is more accurate for close to the pier . Well done
That is so sick!
I've doing this technique and it gives me a lot of yields
Yo hope y’all caught a lot of fish that day bro
Awesome job my friend 😎😎😎
Thanks !
Where do you fish? Florida?
How long of a hand rope do you think you need for the skyway is 26 foot enough?
Awesome
Cool
Wow 👏
this is why i love youtube
Good video bro
Good video! But it’s not really the lazy way that’s pretty much the popular way to throw it on a pier from high up. 😀
I used the technique and it works but the bait is sometimes further down and my net can’t fall wuick enough, what’s some net suggestion
How high is the water to the railing of the pier and does the net have to take test touch the water when
uh my God hahahahahahahaaaaaaaa thanks dude you the best deeeeeeam
Does this work with any cast net off a bridge?

Great video. Where is the location?
... skyway fishing pier
post the cast net in the comments, i need one with a long rope for the pier in port a
Ive never seen that technique
Great video but be carful putting that rope around your hand tight. They make them lose because you never know what you may accidently throw it on.
LMAO You're not even allowed to cast net out at the Skyway Pier which is the funny thing.
You are that’s what’s funny, in designated cast net areas
@@savdylandaubenspeck7825 You're not allowed to cast net on the bridge only on the sides. There are signs that clearly say no cast netting.
