Exciting stuff! Love to see people with genuine interest with the VX series. So little content from skaters that collect these it's pretty cool to find because they are rare! Also congrats on the sale
Thanks man, that sounds dope! I've always been partial to the Sony's but the HVX's are sick as well. I'll watch for the upload or shoot me a message when you get it done. I'll check it out for sure!
Yea especially the VX1000, the 2000 and 2100 are hit and miss with pricing, depending on condition and accessories, etc. I might have to pick your brain on the HVX's at some point. I'd like to get one eventually, or add them to this series. Maybe, lol. I already have like 6 camcorders I'm behind on with shooting episodes. I'm working on a DSR-PDX10 video currently so I'll have to see.
@@thedadtris Now if only I could find the charger, think I have one somewhere in this huge collection of stuff that I bought from someone, if not I guess they are a bit hard to find now?
@@recordealer1 No actually the chargers are quite easy to come across. The charger that the vx2000 uses is the same one Sony used on a lot of their camcorders. There are a few different model numbers of the power supply but they are all the same: AC-L10C and AC-L10B.

I bought a vx2000 with focus problems and no power button (the twist thing) any ideas what to do? And the focus is only in focus in one specific zoom stage
Man the focus issue I'm not sure about. I've done complete lens replacements on a few VX's but I cannot be 100% sure that's even where the problem lies (I'm guessing it is though). The power button is a much easier fix. The only option you really have is getting other units that are broken with other issues and piecing parts together for one complete working unit.
