A Calhoun walking off the mariners is an angels tradition

As much as the ending stung it felt nice to be in a game even when the pitching wasn’t up to par. Raleigh and Julio seem to be heating up, hopefully this continues after the break!

if we hadn’t lost six series straight, this loss wouldn’t hurt at all imo, good teams lose games sometimes, that’s just baseball

Scott screwed the pooch. Either Thorton or Snider should have pitched more than one inning each, then Stanek and Santos or Munoz. Instead he burned Santos too early. You know Munoz isn't going more than one inning and now you're left with Voth in the 10th. It's bad management of your pitching staff, just dumb.

Man, you just had that feeling the Angels would comeback in the 10th after just the one run scored..

Agreed. This one didn't hurt too bad but like you said, if they don't win the next two this one hurts a little more.

this is on Scott for not putting sauce in he new Calhoun was sitting on the fastball Woo had an A ball rehab start 45 pitches. Good insight shared with my X crowd Go M's

Pretty sure woo went to Everett to rehab or that might have been the first time around. Aproching 100 games on the season already thats crazy.

he did, was the same one as Santos

@Azeria i thoight so, thanks. Lets go get these last two games and finish the first half 5-1. That would be a really good feeling after a rough stretch.

It happens man still happy with how the team is playing you can’t expect to go undefeated to a team. Feel pretty confident with Kirby going tmrw and then Gilbert on Sunday.

This is NOT what you're supposed to do to a team that you know you're better than and that the team you're better than knows that they're inferior to your team. Meanwhile Houston is 1 game behind Seattle. Seattle faces Houston after the All-Star break.

Woo kept trying the high fastball and it wasnt working just makes no sense they were clearly ready to hit those pitches

Scott Servis lost us this game. 1st by not pulling Woo after letting 2 players get on in the 6th . When Thorton was clearly already warmed up and 2nd by not bringing in Santos in the bottom of the 10th and instead bringing in Austin Voth.

I think scott should of went with sauce instead of voth against the lefty or kept muni in

agree with a lot of the commenters here. Really feel like Santos should be reserved for 8th inning or later. I know they dont use the term closer but Santos and Muñoz is the closest thing we have for that. Voth is not that guy, hes a perfect 7th inning saver. Switch those two decisions and you might come out with a win but still hard to blame Voth because he only threw 2 pitches.

HEY...... CONGRATULATIONS TO MUNOZ FOR MAKING THE ALLSTAR GAME!!!!! Good game by Julio, but for Fukks sake. Get some clutch in that game. If we're gonna rip Mitch after a good game but miss layup pitches at the end. I'd hope we'd do the same for the "Golden Child". But let's never truly diss Junior2.0.

Telling when they walk Cal to face Julio and Julio goes down swinging chasing pitches out of the zone.

Quick correction on your math… if the mariners win 1 out of the next two and Houston wins 2 games, the Astros would be ahead of the rangers going into the break. It would put the Astros win% at .541 and the mariners would be .540. That’s is all. Go astros

  • @garretriely3915

I think the only reason this one stings a bit is because Houston won, if they had lost I could probably shake this one off pretty easily. Great to see Julio and Cal contributing in a big way during this road trip, we certainly need to add at the deadline but nothing could be better for this team than to have those two finish the year strong.

Astros are inevitable folks. Any guesses on how many games Houston will win division by?

  • @NervousHagrid2.0
    @NervousHagrid2.0 25 дней назад

Well that was a good game, bouce back and get the next two, one does secure us the division lead though so lets go find a way to do it with Kirb and Gilbert in the hill looking to finish strong that 10th inning could have been managed better but lets go get that 5-1 homestand.

Hate to be negative, but any close game servais will get out managed. Why play haniger? Why not pitch voth earlier and have munoz and santos for the 9th and 10th? Anyway, better luck tomorrow. But I'm telling you, servais will cost the mariners 3 or 4 games a year.

In a tie game you should not be saving somebody like voth who has never closed a game and enough with haniger Scott figure it out before you f off our season

Sorry but losing the lead in the first inning bothers me. I know Woo is very beloved but he’s disappointing in my mind. I don’t know much about baseball, but it seems he has not been doing the job lately. Not counting the injury, of course.
