So happy to get this bonus video - and by Robbin no less!! Amazing landscape, and excellent choice of accompanying music, to escape for a few minutes anxiety.
Beautiful footage as always! Noun is shaping up well, she responded before Adi did! As always, I loved the video and hope you are doing well and staying safe.
Thanks! Yeah, we have hopes for Noun. I'll be getting him out with my bike this summer and see if he can turn into a leader; he's got potential! And we are well here. Easy to social distance. Hope you and yours are well too
Hello! I was hoping some of our old friends would check in! Nice to hear from you! Thanks for your kind words, and I hope you are doing (as) well (as possible) too.
I’m glad to see you were able to do your Caribou trip...and were successful. Some STUNNING scenery! Was that Noun in second, being a good boy and making the first move back to the track? Thank you for posting another video!! I loved it!
Yep, it was Noun. He does well... and then he doesn't. But he's still a puppy. I like his potential to be a leader! Meanwhile, Verb is just crushing it back by the sled in wheel.
Your videos are stunning! This one could use some work on the audio (music is loud and dialog is quite) but it's short and sweet, good story telling and beautiful landscapes. Congrats on making 1000 subscribers your channel has great potential! I'm a fan!!
Yes, I saw Brent's facebook post. I might have teared up a little. Not admitting anything. But the idea that Silver traveled out in the Brooks Range one last time is ... shit... yeah.... not admitting anything.
@@puncAF Yeah I hear you, it's pretty sad. I follow Brent on Instagram, that's where I saw he took Silver out with the team one last time to the arctic. Very cool.
I've commented before in your videos, Chris, and I'm not sure if you're still making videos....but.....my 5 year old son and I DREAM of mushing. We're in Southern Ontario currently and its not really feasible for us to make this endeavor right now. Ritualistically, however, we close our night with a routine of teeth brushing, bathroom and snuggling with some RSD videos. If more videos come, could you please comment on the realistic expenses associated with this lifestyle? Also, were you tutored in any way by a friend/relative who got you started? I'd love to hear back from you about this.
Thanks for asking! I feed Annamaet Ultra. After talking to a vet about food, she really stressed the importance of dog dieticians. Annamaet is run by a dietician, so I trust them. Also, they support local races, so they're extra good! Some dog foods are bad for dogs. Talk to your vet! As for learning how, there are lots of opportunities in Fairbanks! When I first moved here, a neighbor had two teams. They asked if I would be willing to run the second team behind the first team, and I was super excited to give it a try. After the first time being dragged out of a dog yard on my face, desperately trying to keep a hold of the sled, I was hooked!
Chris your videos are awsome I have seen all of them and when I thought you were done I was so sad.
Thanks! I was sad when I thought I was done too!

Oh, I just realized this comment was from a year ago! (I’m on my phone, and maybe those reading glasses are useful…)
just spent a few days watching all your videos, they're really inspiring and I enjoy them a lot. Hope you make more in the future!
Gorgeous footage,Way to go Robbin!

Great video. You might already know Silver, Brent Sass' old lead dog, and I believe the grandfather of Noun and Verb, passed away this weekend.

My teacher used your videos as an assignment for our class!
What?! Cool! What was the assignment?
@@puncAF give him/her a copyright strike 🤣🤣
Glad these are still coming! Loved the scenery and music in this one! Also, do you have an Instagram we can follow?
I've really been wondering what you feed your dogs and how do you know what to feed them. Also how did you learn how to dog sled?
