However at that moment I was looking for something quicker.
Also on mpesa, u will be unable to access many services like uber, tourist destinations. U Will then see how easy it is to move around without cash on ur pocket only thing do not share ur pin to no one just like ur visa card pin.
Even-though I have mpresa, I rarely used it. I was able to do everything I wanted to do with cash or credit card.
Imagine I live in Nairobi and I don't know this place. Nairobi is so big
Oh....Nairobi is MASSIVE!!!
Hope things work out for you. Find out if there's a Nakumatt supermarket close to you. The prices will be better.
You haven’t been home in a long time. Nakumatt collapsed years ago😢
Naivas or quickmart.
Nakumatt closed
@usa-kenyan You haven’t been home for many years. Things have and are changing at lightning speed.
We are in carrefour now 😂 nakumatt and tuskys died 😂
@@naliaka9318 Oops! Thanks for informing me. After you mentioned it, I suddenly recalled reading about some supermarkets being in financial trouble. Yes, it's ben a while since I was in Kenya.
Have you ever caught Malaria while visiting African countries? Are there a lot of mosquitos swarming around this time of the year?
Never, but I have also been vaccinated many times years while I was in the military.
The mall the Grocery store is concerning. It all looks just like every other western country. All the stores are supplied with European clothing brands European Companies BUTTT if you come to the US, China or Europe NOTHING IS FROM Africa - that is keeping us Black people poor WAKE UP!
Welcome to Kenya 🇰🇪
Thank you!
Welcome to Kenya welcome home

Welcome to Kenya
Thank you!
You should probably visit turkana, the cradle of mankind.
I'm assuming that is in Kenya?
You should be teaching Kenyans the true history of America, the mounds we have are the burial places of Giants.
Karibu Kenya. Kwetu hakuna matata.
I only received an email with reference number for my Visa so exactly what did you mean that it has to be on paper? Should I print that out or is there something else to print?
Well.....the instructions I received at the time stated that I had to printout the approval in color not in black and white. I hear there's been some changes lately, so maybe now a hard is not required.
@@NomadicJayye2021 😂😂😂I was starting to get nervous because I fly out Monday so I was definitely confused. All I have is the reference number in my email.
@@OhSoNita I don't want you to have any problems so let me recap what I did.
First I had to create an account/ Fill in the required visa information and attached a copy my passport/ I had to wait for the approval email from Kenya immigration which happened less than 24 hours/ Once I received the approval email, I logged back into the account that I created and printed the approved arrival visa.
Is that the process you went through?
@@NomadicJayye2021 Yes all except there was no approved arrival Visa on the portal profile that I created. I just went and looked again. They only sent me the email with the approved Reference Number. I went through ecitizen portal. I’m assuming it’s not a picture of a visa it’s just a reference number correct?
@@OhSoNita Mmmm.......I'm not familiar with that particular name. Did you use evisa.go.ke/?
It's possible that it's the same site but from a different link.
Jayye welcome to Kenya.
Thank you Brother!
Home sweet home!

Nairobi is expensive.
Buy fresh fruit/veggies from the open air markets outside. Better value for your money
yes..There was open air fruit market within 5 mins of my Airbnb. I made plenty use of my Mpesas there. 👍🏿👍🏿
Sierra in Yaya has the best burgers!
Really? There were so many burger places throughout Nairobi but I didn't get a chance to check too many out. However, I did checkout a few fried chicken places. Love Chicken Inn! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Filming could be restricted in some malls
I was wondering about that. I didn't have any problems though.
Karibu Kenya, next time visit mombasa the coast of Kenya

Alright! Alright! Not bad! Not bad! You say that a lot! But it’s alright 😂
