    Salve MusicOffili e RUclipsrs, questa è davvero una puntata particolare di quelle dedicate al chitarrista svedese Mattias Eklundh, di pazzie e stranezze già ne abbiamo viste molte ma stavolta andiamo oltre ascoltando un modo di suonare la chitarra alquanto "bizzarro", utilizzando uno strumento che tutto farebbe pensare meno che al poter sostituire un plettro: un pettine per capelli. Mattias è molto famoso per aver suonato e inciso canzoni utilizzando gli strumenti più insoliti, la motivazione di fondo non è però solo goliardica, ma è legata ad un particolare sound che tali oggetti, utilizzati in un determinato modo, riescono a creare, timbriche sempre interessanti ed originali.

    Thank you Matthias... one more reason to be unhappy about being bold! it this had happened to me , I would have ignored the generous comb offering by the French and would have never discovered this outrageous amazing technique ! Er.. I might have walked away with a tooth pick , but no doubt you already know that technique ! in the meantime I throw down the sword ( whoops Whishbone Ash slipped out..not hear that for years ! ) in protest .. any excuse...

      +Fatalsprigs they're called "true temperment" frets. It makes for perfect intonation the whole way up the fretboard!

      Not perfect, at least not for Thidel's Formula 1 TT frets. According to True Temperament:
      "Major keys in Formula 1 which sound closer to the natural tone row are: E, F#, G, A, B, C, D. Minor keys which sound closer to the natural tone row are: E, F#, G#, A, B, Eb."
      Anders Thidel was able to make a guitar where all keys were in perfect tune, but the guitar needed 54 frets. And some frets only existed to produce one note of one string in tune.

    Good speech about boredom. Playing guitar with a vibrator then later suggesting that you look in your parents closet for something to play the guitar with is really gross.
