This guy and Paul Gilbert are the most humble and entertaining guitarists ever
the bit about boredom is so true!
This is a real music lesson. I am serieous.
Children will run home asking for a cam.
Genius.
i really like your boredom philosophy
He plays so much he needs seven strings, and he even melted his frets! He's insane viking shredd overlord!
At first glimpse, anyways. Much respect.
hes playing a 6 string lol i thought the same thing from the headstock
He's using 8 strings now.
1:25 So true.
Through boredom comes creativity.
Matthias so goofy. I love it.
Amazing! I'll try that as soon as I'll be back at home.
I love that song,i lvoe the idea, and i love your talented arse IA :)
Great, I didn't know, what they are for.... :-)
Log Off! What a great expression! Idea, ammo for a song.
Thought it sounded like a very fast breakdown in a metal song. In fact...I think I got an idea (HEE HEE HEE!).
this is the new tremolopicking
My hero. xD
I love hes attitude.
Suomi mainittu.
Such true words. Allowing yourself to become bored away from androids and iPhones...opens up headroom for new ideas.
Hehe freaky guitar swede.....epic!!
Comb the string😂😂😂love it
Thank you Matthias... one more reason to be unhappy about being bold! it this had happened to me , I would have ignored the generous comb offering by the French and would have never discovered this outrageous amazing technique ! Er.. I might have walked away with a tooth pick , but no doubt you already know that technique ! in the meantime I throw down the sword ( whoops Whishbone Ash slipped out..not hear that for years ! ) in protest .. any excuse...
Comb makes the guitar sound like a cello.
Is this what Adam Jones (Tool) uses?
I am going to coin a fitting new description for Matthias : Matthias the " COMBATANT " and he is very combetent!
Thanks I really enjoyed this but I have no idea what is going on
This guys hilarious!
Beautiful guitar...which is it ?
SanjeevGeorgeV caparison apple horn
he used a vibrator ;)))
Oh fuck
This guy is a genius, sadly it took these videos, years after his work with Meshuggah, for me to figure that out
Jajajajajaja con que así lo hacías .... Que loooco .... Genial
I was practicing my violin and somehow ended up here... WTF???
Your English is broken like your frets. :D
Jokes aside, I love him and his band! Awesome riff in that song!
The man got a sustainiac on the bridge u can expect anything
You , Music …. I , Musick ,
Matters needs to do movie scores .
In your case, the comb is usefull 2 times .... :)
2:30 it reminds me Chewbacca
1:19 is such an essential lesson to mankind...
That's the Coolest thing I have seen since Hendrix!
'
+Fatalsprigs they're called "true temperment" frets. It makes for perfect intonation the whole way up the fretboard!
Not perfect, at least not for Thidel's Formula 1 TT frets. According to True Temperament:
"Major keys in Formula 1 which sound closer to the natural tone row are: E, F#, G, A, B, C, D. Minor keys which sound closer to the natural tone row are: E, F#, G#, A, B, Eb."
Anders Thidel was able to make a guitar where all keys were in perfect tune, but the guitar needed 54 frets. And some frets only existed to produce one note of one string in tune.
Mike Gordon, bassist for Phish uses a drill.
Paul Gilbert has done this too... ruclips.net/video/hZTvlujtUx4/видео.html
Steve vai: left the group
Good speech about boredom. Playing guitar with a vibrator then later suggesting that you look in your parents closet for something to play the guitar with is really gross.
This vid is so sexual 😂 reported
