Previewing his home race at the Gran Premi Aperol de Catalunya, MotoGP™ CRT frontrunner Aleix Espargaro provides an insights to his season so far, his life off track, his brother Pol's progress in Moto2™, his training regime and the charateristics of his home track - Montmelo. The Catalan rider lives just a few kilometers from the track.

Of course the 'big teams' are interested, but the fact remains that there are only a limited number of factory or sat spec bikes available. What IS crazy, is that his albeit talented but presently struggling brother Pol, is almost certain to jump the queue straight onto a M1 Yamaha... whilst Aleix waits...and waits...

Tech3 Yamaha have signed the wrong Espargaro. I think Aleix can do a good job in 2014.
