I am so glad that both of you are discussing marriage. We always hear the recent constant narrative about “staying single, marriage is so hard & not worth it,” but marriage can be such a blessing. It is a lot of work, but to have your “own” person is priceless. I no longer have to worry about dates, a movie partner, sleeping alone, or having sex with any guilt or regret. I have never had a true praying partner before until now. I love my husband & no, he is not perfect; none of us are perfect. Unlike past boyfriends, his dedication to me does not waiver based on an argument or anything. 🙏🏽🥰 I have never had this kind of commitment before.
I was married 11 yrs and divorced now of days finding the right person is so hard everyone plays games only text when they want to so I continue to pray to God to send the right man that's a Cristian like me and that is hard working like me and that's very respectful and loving ❤
Marriage is honestly work, but definitely worth it if both individuals want it to, you’re still rather young what you feel in your 30s, 40s, 50s etc will change the hope is that with these changes you both will grow together and in those tough times to come you will both look to God to carry you through 🙏🏽

This has been a mean season for sickness. We all just have to strive for stronger immune systems. Think about getting some live green plants for your home like the snake plant and spider plant they help with cleaning the air and adding oxygen.

Dear Mayfair, I admire you and your family's dynamic. I am also so glad that [a] sabbath is important to you and your family. You mentioned that Sunday was your chosen day and that some have countered that this day is not the Sabbath [given by God for rest]. Please permit me to share this here. It is a little lengthy due to its nature, for which I apologize in advance. Notwithstanding, it might help to clarify the "confusion" that always seems to surround this topic of Sabbath. I had just shared this with someone who had spoken of this in terms of old and new covenant and Israelites versus gentiles; but it might still be helpful. So here goes: "Please read what God has to say about it in Isaiah 56. The text starts off by letting us know WHO is speaking (God Himself), and then has some interesting things to say about the sons of the foreigner (Gentiles were ANY foreigners or strangers to Israel). Pay particular attention to verses 2, 3, 6, 7, and 8. God includes them/us in Sabbath worship and made promises of blessings and acceptance of Gentiles even then. "Hebrews 4, found in the New Testament and written AFTER Christ came and established the new covenant of which you speak (and which the book of Hebrews speaks about) is like the other bookend of this. The entire chapter is enlightening, and when read after what we just saw and the understanding gained in Isaiah 56, it clarifies what Sabbath means for the Gentiles in the new covenant. Verse 2 says that the gospel was preached to you as well as to them (Jews and Gentiles. Isaiah 56 also said that, as we just saw). Verse 4 tells us that God spoke in a certain place about His own rest from all His works (That certain place is Gen. 2:1-3 and then of course in Exodus 20:8-11 when He gave the commandments, when God spoke all these words, when God also wrote them on tablets of stone and gave to Moses for the Israelites to have. Verse 10 says that whoever enters that rest ceases from work as God did from His). "In other words, God did not change the information concerning Sabbath rest when He gave the law to Israel because He had established it at creation when He rested from all His work and hallowed the seventh day as the Sabbath. We just saw this in Hebrews 4:4). Verse 9 therefore makes sense. The rest remains for the people of God. We are admonished at the top of the chapter to be concerned about not obtaining the PROMISE concerning this REST that God has given. We are told in this same Hebrews 4 that some have not entered this God-given rest because of unbelief. Verse 11 of Hebrews 4 again admonishes as the first verse, that we should not lose out on this rest and wind up just like those who lost out because of unbelief (11 "Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief."). " In Revelation 14:6, 7 the angel flying with the everlasting gospel says with a loud voice to fear God and give Him glory...and worship Him who made heaven, earth, the sea and the fountains of waters (giving a nod to the reference of the LORD who made heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in them and rested the seventh day, therefore blessing it and hallowing it in Exodus 30:8-11), identifying yet again the God in the new covenant/testament as the God of the old covenant/testament, the one who established and blessed the Sabbath day. "God is the one that sanctifies us, according to Exodus 31:13 and Ezekiel 20:12, and the Sabbath is a sign of that, as God Himself said. He said it to the Israelites in the old covenant and also to us Gentiles, His will is that we also be sanctified (as 1 Thessalonians 4:3a) points out. "I pray that this clarifies where Gentiles (as well as Jews or Israelites) stand where God and the Sabbath is concerned in the old as well as the new covenant. May the Holy Spirit guide you concerning all of these; after all, Jesus calls Him the Spirit of truth in verse 13 of John 16 and promised that the Holy Spirit would guide us into ALL truth. Hey c fam just to comment on the sabbath..Sabbath is the seventh day of the week which is Saturday..the day GOD rested after the creation..which HE made holy not any other day that’s the 4th commandment and we are sapose to worship GOD on that day .
The bible explain to us which day is the Sabbath day. The Lord said if we love him we. Will keep his commandments The Lord said remember the.sabbath day to keep it holy. We have six days to do all our work. The seventh day is the sabbath of rest.
That's under the law, christ death and resurrection becomes our rest...read hebrews..so if she chooses to rest on Sunday, that's her choice. We are not under the law but under grace..we ought to fully obey the word of God...
