Mayfair: I am with you,I love love to shop, it is my therapy and most of the time I go alone as I do not need my husband breathing down my back telling me I do not need an item that I like and want. I bought two mushroom lamps yesterday and he said to me “things and things and more things”. We cannot take the money with us when we are no more. We may as well enjoy “THE THINGS TODAY😊”. We have a good marriage and do somethings together - shopping is not one. Going to the electronic stores, my husband is in hog heaven and full of patience😂😂. Let me do the HOMEGOODS, TARGET, MARSHALL etc. 😂😂ALONE😂😂

Sometimes we have to let them cry it out my social media niece is very smart and she know when I go crying here come mom and dad to the rescue,but once she realize you guys don’t react she’ll learn to self soothe and it’ll help her understand that just because you cry or throw a fit you can’t always get what you want that’s a great life lesson as well

I used to live in Atlanta, GA but moved to DC. Check out Passion City Church! There’s different locations within GA and there’s a branch here in DC!
Your outdoor view and space is relaxing. I recommend taking it up a notch and add a couple of windchimes in the trees. When you all come out on the deck, the sounds from the windchimes when there’s a breeze coupled with the view will promote more mesmerizing tranquility and relaxation. Are you all planning to get a grill so you all can grill on the deck while enjoying that view?
That's a great idea! Our neighbors have some and it makes the sweetest sound - Malaika would love it. Definitely plan to get a grill and some outdoor furniture now that the weather is warming up

I think Winston called it how the men I know shops & feels about shopping. Some women will be all over the place taking long & will go to another store to see if it was cheaper.😂 Men will go in that store & get what they come for & they're out! I remember my mom had a friend drive her to the store to grab a few items & he looked like "this is going to take awhile" mom told him she shops like a man. She went & got her items & was done. He said she wasn't kidding & if she ever needed another store run call him. 🛒😊
